Please can someone tell me what the assorted symbols mean in the left hand margin against each topic thread?

Blank page icon means the topic has not be replied. One with lines means the topic has been replied. One with exclamation means the topic is "stickied", means it'll stay at the top.

I think he meat the icons on the Home Forum Page.
I've been trying to figure out what they mean, too.

The icons are specific to each forum. In the latest discussions, these represent the sub-forums to which the topics are associated.
