I checked out Cash Crate and was 99% sure it would be ineffectual (based on experience with other survey programs!), but it was free to sign up so I thought I'd give it a try.

I was kind of pleasantly surprised...there was an enormous list of surveys to take, offers to fill out, and trials. Most of them were free, although some of the higher-paying trials and offers cost a couple of dollars. I did a few surveys and offers, and made $10 while I was watching tv that evening. Not bad! And, like all other sites, getting referrals onto the site can earn you more money.

No, I'll never make thousands of dollars every month...or even hundreds. But I'm pretty happy to have it pay a couple of bills!

There are tons of sites out there, so I thought I'd put in my positive two cents about this one.

Good luck - and keep an eye on your credit card if you use it for any of the offers!

I don't like that program very much as they basically make sign up & buy & use products you will not use just so you can get a big payout.

Thanks for the heads up I thought these programs were always free but I hear some of them actually ask for credit info and I 'm just not confortable with that, and if anything they should pay you to take the surveys. Well I guess its something else off my list

I belong to Cashcrate and have 70 people under me that I referred.

I have earned $9.72 from all those 70 people, so it is not a very good earner.

But I suppose money is money!

Some of these free programs can be a lot of fun. I think it depends on where your interests are as far as what may work out for you. For myself I'm not real big on filling out surveys or trying out products (although some people really enjoy that!). I have a lot more fun just doing the click sites... it's soooo easy.

It's worthwhile to always read the TOS and FAQs to make sure you agree with the terms (some may want to send newsletters every day or require you download their tool bar, etc.) The forum of each program also gives a good indication of how well the program is working and if people are getting paid.

Pay will start pretty low (just pocket change), but with the more programs you join, and the more referrals you get, it can mean a pretty decent income. (Many sites will let you purchase referrals for pretty cheap ~ but don't put any money into a program that hasn't proven itself through time yet).

I'm still kinda new to PTC sites, but I'm actually having a really good time so far, while bringing in a little money everyday.

CashCrate is the best GPT right now. High payout and excellent referral program. Payment proofs and good reviews are all over the place.

I would recommend it to anyone. Especially US residents.

Ok i know this thread is old but i am writing to help anyone struggling to get refs for cashcrate.

One way i was able to refer lots of people to cash crate was to create a free blog on blogger blog and i wrote 3 articles on cash crate (unique articles) and published on the blog. Pinged the blog using pingomatics and the submitted blog to digg, reddit, propeller etcc..

The search engine caught up with the blog and within my first month i had 23 refs of which 11 where USA members.

Cashcrate works well.
Cheers

Cash Crate is not your conventional GPT, but it works for some.

I actually got a $27 check from them...Hey you can't beat something for nothing..I tried a few of the free trials like Acai berry supplements and the coffee club, but canceled them...You have to remember to cancel before the trial is up...And its a must to get a junk email because 1000's of offers will flood your email system...But its actually pretty good...I liked filling out the fun surveys like whats your IQ, how wild are you...lol....And you get paid for them...

To avoid this i just use diposable credit cards VCC so even if i forget to cancel they just wont be able to charge me. But you have to select with care as not all vcc's will be accepted. Cheers

I came aboard Cash Crate about a month ago. I hadn't tried GPT sites much but had heard about the earnings potential for this one so I wanted to give it a look. For the most part I figure to try recruiting as many referrals as I can and let them do the work for me. With 5 so far I've managed to eek out almost $5, so I imagine with time it could grow to be a small pocket change earner at least. Some of the diehards seem to make an average of $50-$100 monthly, so if that it appealing enough then I say go for it!

Many people say they love Cash Crate, and they pay on time. I joined it, too, but I don't really like filling out surveys. So I didn't keep up with it.
