Hi, I'm currently a member of EzyCashGifts. You only need $5 dollars to sign up. The thing is it has 8 different pay levels. The first level is the initial $5 dollars after that you can decided to upgrade to level 2 for $10 dollars, but it is completely up to you. The only thing is if you bring someone into the program and you are only at $5 dollars then you will only be able to receive $5 dollar payments if the member you brought in upgrades to level two and you are still at level one you won't get paid the $10 dollars, however if you continue to upgrade your pay will upgrade as well it goes all the way up to $1000 dollars.

Has cash gifting gotten so bad, they've got to go down to $5? Interesting. Good luck to all involved. Seems, like $5 is just the lure.

In a way, I think it is kind of a lure. Not to say that you couldn't make money just sticking at the $5 level. They are definitely counting on people upgrading to the higher levels.

What sounds cool about it though is that you don't have to upgrade if you don't want to and an average person that doesn't have a lot to spend can get into cash gifting. But, anyone that is successful at the lower level would be crazy not to reinvest that money into upgrading and getting higher gifts.

I am in this program and it has been working really well for me! I haven't been a member that long but I have made more money with this program than any other one I have been involved with.

Yes, a great way to gift!
If that's your thing.

Say what you want about gifting, but it's one of the fastest ways to make a good deal of money.

I like that it starts at $5, and you get the chance, a warning, to upgrade before one of your downline members do.
That way, you make money without having to spend anymore than you must.
And you KNOW you'll get a 'gift' after your upgrade.

And it seems to sell itself!
Who wouldn't try this for only $5??

Cash gifting made CHEAP and EZ!!

I'm a little 'iffy' on this program for the sheer fact that I signed up as a free member under TJamMoneyMan, but when I went to send my $5 payment, it wasn't going to him, it was going to Admin. So, I'm still not a full member because I want my sponsor to get the payment, not admin.

Hi everyone!
Can someone please be honest with me. Why do some people say cash gifting is illegal??
Others say it is great.

Do you have to make your own website? Is it hard to get people to sign up??

Any Advice would be great!

Thanks!
Daye

in my knowledge its illegal but it does really WORK : )

Do you have to make your own website?

Most gifting program provides you a FREE WEBSITE or your own unique referral link..

Is it hard to get people to sign up??

I guess it depends on the program that u have joined ...

Gwen Jones has a new list she is building, and it comes with FREE PRO MEMBERSHIP!

So pardon me while I spread the word:
To those who are looking for a great source of LOW/NO-cost advertising, Here are 4 great ad resources I have found recently:
There are specials on the 3 Gwen Jones' lists.
And the 4th, Monster Advertising, is another great new ad resource, imho.

New Members, and MAMMOTH LIST members get a LOT of FREE advertising of various types to include SOLO ADS, BANNERS, TEXT ADS etc. at the 3 Gwen Jones Lists.

ALSO, there is FREE PRO MEMBERSHIP available for a limited time only, and a Pro Membership upgrade, with again, a LOT of FREE advertising, at a cost lower than the one time Pro membership cost itself!

Great deal, I think...

Disclaimer, I am not discrediting any gifting programs out there.

That being said new legistlation has come down int he past year or two that makes it very hard for these programs to remain active legally, so buyer beware, do your research.

I looked into this program about a week ago and the one thing that I was looking for was the response time from the admin/back office, the sponsor or both. I sent to requests for different types of info from the site and still have not received a resposea week later and the person I was going to enrol under still has not gotten back to me either even though I have seen him on this board posting this week. I have moved on to another program and they have been very responsive and helpful.
Thx,
SMC

I'd like to see someone support the position that this is so illegal.
Granted this may be an issue.
But when you make statements like this, support them.
Show me what statute makes cash gifting illegal.
Show me where this is actually being prosecuted.

What 'new legislation came down in the past year or two etc.' that makes CG so illegal now, where it was legal before(?).

In short, before you make such statements, do YOUR research!

Whatever the legality, I seriously doubt ANYONE is going to jail over these penny ante payouts!

I mean, REALLY!!!

Actual PROOF anyone?

What happened was, I had made my gift/payment to my sponsor, but I neglected to go through the website notification process.
My sponsor got my payment, but my website was not updated so, your payment was directed towards HIM - my sponsor, NOT admin!

At EzyCashGifting admin gets NO payout.
All gift payouts go to your immediate upline, based on what level in the cash gifting set up they have paid into.

If you are ready to payout at a level above where your immediate sponsor is, your payment will be directed to the next upline member who has paid into your gifting level.

Clear as mud?

Why would you cash gift? Tj is it not illegal due to the fact that it is a flat out pyramid scheme... Cash gifting is a short term way to make a couple of dollars but not a long term residual. If you want real long term residual find a mlm with a product you believe in and can use..This is how I choose my MLM if you don't believe in the product how can you promote to others...

The EzyCashGifts program was a great idea because it allows people with smaller budgets to try cash gifting out for only $5.

I agree with some of you! I have tried a couple cash gifting schemes and really got nowhere. It was a lot of time and effort with little to no results, at least for me. Onward with affiliate marketing!

I have been in cash gifting for three years and do very well. I look for certain things that make one work I have seen many come and go. I like reading your post on gifting I see where people come from when they feel lost with what they do and give up. Most of the time the reason is you did not have someone help you through the learning curve. success comes with being a good team. People need people to make gifting work and you just have to be around to help.

I agree with you myonlykey cash gifting is an excellent work at home program. Low entry cost is very attractive to most people, cash benefits are immediate - no waiting around for payment till next month or the month after that, like most work at home programs. You get paid right away.

Due to the low cost of getting in, there's lots of interest by prospects. It's also not hard to do. Its easy to understand, people seem to get it right away.

I notice that people seem very excited by it, which I love to see. Also, unlike other programs, there's no risk due to the low entry cost. You can easily get started creating a very profitable business.

rcerrone mentioned illegal, it is not illegal because valuable products are sold. You get a large amount of digital downloadable products, and a website with a back office. All of which you get for a really low price.

I really don't think it should even be called cash gifting, it's just a business with a great product and a low investment, so that anyone looking to earn money can succeed without loosing their shirt to get started!

I won't say anything about this particular program but usually organized gifting is illegal because it is run as a business with no product.

The organized transfer of money with no product is what makes these programs illegal. Any program that is done primarily for the expansion of AFFILIATES as opposed to the purchase of a product for the product's sake is illegal and will eventually come under suspicion.

The feds don't care about it until it gets into the millions of$$$ (which they can then confiscate and steal) so until it gets big, nothing is usually done about it from the ABC guys.

You would need to do your own DD as I do not have the statute, but I have a detailed writeup on it from a person who used to work in the enforcement field regarding this. If you are interested, just email me.

If you can promote this type of program you can likely make some fast cash, but if you want a solid, long term passive income you need to go with the 5-10 year old, solvent, stably paying businesses that are available.

I think their products are eBooks, which is lame but at least it makes it legal for all intents and most purposes!

The top gifting platform in ECG level is Level 8, which is $1000. We're working hard with our own system to get their and keeping going, but it's going to take months because it's slow to motivate people already dealing with you on the low levels to keep upgrading to the next higher gifting levels. We're mostly still on Level 1 or 2.

By the way, here in the United States you can legally receive gifts of $12,000 in a year from ONE person and not have to report it. That's in the IRS code -- check it out. If I were lucky enough to get $12,000 from 8 people, that's $96,000 in gifts I wouldn't have to report.
Any income over $12,000 / person is reportable however. Reportable commissions from business opportunities, however, is $6000 and up / year.

TheExecutive,

I think you have your facts mixed up...

First, the one giving the gift (donor) is the one liable to pay the gift
tax should the amount donated is above $12,000. Charitable gift is
is different and is tax deductible.

The statement that any income over $12,000/person is reportable is
wrong. And by reportable, do you mean taxable?

For our purposes as self-employed persons, any income over $600
will trigger a 1099 being reported to the IRS. If you are self-
employed and earn over $400, you are required to file a tax return.
How much tax you have to pay on your income depends on many
things such as filing status, amount of taxable income, deductions,
etc.

Also all these gifting schemes are not really gifts in the legal sense
since everybody joining these schemes are joining with the
expectation of making money. Because of this, marketing is
required. And because you're marketing, you may be operating the
scheme as a business opportunity.

TheExecutive:

I think their products are eBooks, which is lame but at least it makes it legal for all intents and most purposes!

So do they have products or not?

If they do, then guess what? It's probably a business opportunity
and not a gifting (scheme, plan, club, etc.).

If they don't, you still run the risk of being involved in an illegitimate
scheme.

People in gifting schemes usually side-track others into believing
that it's perfectly legal to give and receive gifts. Yes, that's
absolutely true if they are indeed "gifts" in the legal terms.
However, majority of the time, these gifts don't fit this legal
definition.

Argument about being "tax legal" in terms of the IRS is a different
issue.

Here's an analogy...

If a drug dealer paid taxes on all his income from selling drugs, does
it make his activity legal? Of course not!

He will get in trouble, but just not with the IRS.

It's funny how I see people talking about gifting schemes being
legal and they're using all these terms to describe it....

marketing
sponsors
business
system
investment
earn money
payout
level
success
learning
advertising
membership
sign up
upgrade
etc...etc...etc...
