Daylynne,
Thanks for your posts - it's good to see that at least one of your number has some nice things to say about MMM.
And you're absolutely right that passing judgement on a program that one may not even have used is unfair.
It is funny how there is such uncertainty surrounding MMM though - perhaps it's a case of Mack employing so many borderline marketing methods that people began to suspect all was not right.
Such as claiming to be featured on those media broadcasters - was this true? Or was this a 'white' lie to convince more people to buy the product which could well be good value?
Same goes for the 'only X copies left' approach - this is a common one across the board so I'm not singling out Mack here - but there is definitely a grey area in this internet marketing/affiliateship world where the 'truth is exaggerated' to MAKE people buy. Of course, this goes on in the real world too.
It seems that people lack patience or confidence in their product - if it is a real, genuine product, people will buy it in time, and they will recommend it to their friends.
If it really is that good, why tell people they have to buy it now because there's only 3 left, or (perhaps) falsely claim that their product was featured in Time Magazines top 100 cash generating programs in 2007.
You don't have to lie... just say, buy it today, make money tonight - that's not a lie...
But then maybe you won't make money so fast... hmmm.
I sense a whole debate about the ethics of marketing coming on... but I'll save that for another day.
Before I bail out, Daylynne, would you be at liberty to say how much you've earned using MMM's techniques? From your first month with them up until today?
Your comments are appreciated and I think it'll be good for everyone to see that MMM does promote genuine, good quality methods with very good supporting material.
It would be nice to know that, whether his name is Mack or Chris, that he's delivering a product that people can have some faith in.
And of course, any more thoughts from everyone are appreciated in response to this post. As always!
Have a good one everybody and catch you later,
IP

Hi, I have been a MMM member for a month, and then given it up, not because I thought it was not worth it but rather because I realized that I needed a platform for the basics, and MMM is not a place to go when you are just an online newbie. Good places to start with, and I did that, is a combo of One Week Marketing Action Plan, and My Online Income System (no/ or almost no hidden costs). Roseanne

I've been in it a long while now and it is 100% legit. You get a lot of support to help you and if it is not for you, then you can claim a refund.

Why not? I don't think it's a insulting.
Though I'm a bit confused... how is it relevant to the thread?

Most of affiliate program on sale on internet have same approaches~
They are all quality systems
Only difference is Prices!!!
I would pick one cheaper!
That's the way you can reduce risk and save money!
Happy day~^^

97 a month is nuts. Of course, he's making a killing and I'm sure we'll see the 'screen shot proof' sometime soon.
The same information is available for MUCH less if you're willing to take the time to look. Nobody has a stronghold on the 'secrets', whatever that means (nothing).
Like many product creators, he's making the bulk of his money on the product, not the information that's in it.

Yes Maverick Money Makers is very legit. The information I learned to create my own income with many different ideas and marketing strategies is invaluable.
It has been one of the best investments I have ever made.

Mack comes across as a very nice & approachable guy. But I've heard a mixed response with regard to the afilliate products you promote & about the case of saturation. There nothing original in what he does, although he is brilliant in marketing his products & services !

I tried Money Maverick Makers... I don't know if it was a scam but it was not showing me a return on the investment. I don't mind paying $97 or $497 as long as I see the system will work.
Right now I am looking into newer programs and I find their is so much hype out their. All these guys are selling stuff, but I wonder if they really do those numbers from real businesses.
My opinion of Maverick Money Makers is C+
Its not bad... and it has alot of good looking videos but I don't think I was to impressed with the over all search engine marketing of it. What I find is no one helps you develop systems to get you up an running.
I don't mind the work but I think it would help to put these courses in a system that one can use and make some decent return then help to build their own business.
I am open to newer courses now, does any one seen any good internet marketing courses?
Do you think membership programs are worth it or should you look for a one time payment course.
Also, does click bank have good products?
Thanks

I ended up dropping Maverick Money Makers because it did turn out to be fishy. I don't like the idea of his CPA project where he fakes a job offer just so you can get money for cost per action.
He talks smooth. He seems nice. He's on Twitter. He's got customer service up now, but every once in a while, there's an odd piece of behavior that comes out that's just not quite right.
I made a couple hundred dollars promoting his stuff, but after that, I didn't really make any money. He's got some interesting, think outside the box techniques, but many of them didn't really work for me, and when I'd ask questions to his knowlegde base, I never got a response.
Then one day, I ran into a site that blew the whistle on him. You might want to check it out this website and judge for yourself http://www.isitworththemoney.com/maverick-money-makers-scam-or-real-deal/. Apparently, Mack goes by other names.
This guy is smooth. It's the best scam I've ever seen, and I fell for it. He looks legit. He looks clean, and a few of the skills in there are useful like domain forwarding with Go Daddy. But you can find that out for free on You Tube.
Effectively, you are paying $97 per month to be his experiment so he can perfect his program. A real, ethical guru never uses you as the test case. He has gone out and tested it on his own and then teaches you, and the rules must be consistent with Google's rules.
A good guru never encourages cheater methods or black hat, not even gray hat methods. I'm sorry, faking a job offer just to get CPA money does not sit well with me and he should never ever teach that to his students.
Look at his sales video about Millnic, then check on the inside of his club: no Millnic. This guy is very, very creative at making things up. I'd be very careful.

The material offered is not bad but just understand that Internet Marketing is a huge learning curve to absorb all the details. If you are serious about IM this is a good place to start.

HI everyone writing this thread...
If you will look upwards in this thread, I praised Mack and the MMM. I honesly got some good value from the site.
However, things change. I had been a VIP member for 4 months. I NEVER --NEVER that is, received ANY of the promised VIP benefits. At $47 a month, plus the regular $97, not to receive anything was not my idea of honest.
When I first joined, a link saying VIP only, led to a page that said the VIP pages were being revised and would soon be up with a bigger and greater site make-over. I waited. And Waited. And waited. It never became real.
Meanwhile, I was promised a half hour call with Mack every month, so I felt that alone would be worth it. After about 3 weeks, I wrote support to ask what happened to that. A few days later, I recieved an email stating my call TO MACK was ready, and would I be sure to have time to set aside, with my notepad so I could take notes, and gave me a phone number to call to set up my appointment call.
When I called the number, a very polite (answering service) took my info and made an appointment for me for the next day.
I'm sure all you dissenters will love this: When the call came, it was a telemarketer service trying to sell me A DIFFERENT COURSE WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY! Furious, I ran another email to support (BTW, the phone number on the site that I could call anytime for live support -- has a recording saying to email them).
I assumed the phone number given to me, was just a wrong number. NO answer from support for 4 days, when she wrote, saying another number would be sent to me. The number sent, was the same one.
Then, things got weird and frustrating and angering. The same person wrote all the following: first, there never was a VIP section offered. Then, it was in construction; there was no calls offered; and yes and no all the way. Which finally came down to the only thing I was going to get for my $47 was a 50% discount on any new products that Mack sold. As there hadn't been any of those in all the time I was there, that was mentioned.
Well, to shorten this new Ebook, While I was demanding my money back for false advertising, another month hit and another $47 was taken from my account.
Complaining to Clickbank, I got that one month returned. My next course of action is to turn it over to the Internet frauds site. And tell everyone I can, not to get mixed up in this.
And YES, he continues to be #1 on Cickbank, mainly because all the big gurus pimp for him, for the $45 a month they get for each sucker they send.
Sorry everyone.. I hope you have read to here due to this length. For the most part, I would say, that most of the material on the site that you get for that horrible $97 a month, isnt worth it. I have and do belong to sites that offer me twice or more value than that for less money.
Tell you friends not to waste their money. Tell everyone hes a crook. And it is going to delight me to give people all the material of Mack's I downloaded FREE.
Write me and I'll give you a list of available stuff (most of what I dl was pretty good stuff, full courses and books and software.
Post a big BEWARE sign.

Hi Daylynne,
Thanks for taking the time to expound upon your experience with MMM. I took a look at the program several months ago after someone recommended it to me.
On the surface it sounded pretty good (but somewhat over priced). I didn't buy into it because I have just about everything I need with SBI, but I wanted to know whether it was "safe" to recommend it to others when they asked.
I've been enlightened by your personal testimonial which I genuinely appreciate as well as some of the others previously written.
Thanks again for your effort. I hope you find what you need elsewhere.
Blessings, Angie

Hi Daylynne,
Thanks for the invite.
There's a glitch in your signature that needs to be fixed in order to make your blog address a clickable link. Add the code [url] before the http and it should work fine.

Hi guys and girls.
Robert here in the uk.
I bought mmm over a year ago to review for someone on my team(main biz op) and at first i thought it was decent. But when i went through everything,i realised there was other programmes just as good but for a one time payment.
I liked the video mack shows about posting ad campaigns on multiple sites but it wasn't in the club?
Some of the content is good but mack confused me sometimes.
He'd say in one video to do this, then in another video he'd say not do that! ?????
Overall it's not a bad product but certainly needs tweaking a little.
Whatever you decide folks,do you're research.
All the best
Robert

Some great posts guys.
At the price Mack Michael's is charging, you certainly wouldn't expect a product that needs tweaking!
This guy is obviously very good at marketing. If he had the product to match (or was at least 100% honest about what he offers) then he could be on his way to being one of the internet marketing legends.
But the comments on many a forum suggest he plays a short-term game - where money comes first and customers come last - so he just keeps reinventing himself.
I like WendyTaylorHill's post above and I like her signature even more - I almost believe the 'six figures statement'(!)
Daylynne - thanks for coming back and sharing that information with us - and great to hear you're working with the top guru in the UK (tell him to enjoy top spot while it lasts ;o)
I'll be sure to let my visitors know about your findings by pointing them in this direction.
Keep up the good work everyone - and as the fortunemaker said, do your research.
Have a fun day guys,
IP

Anything that is'nt ethical or does'nt do exactly as it should, is very questionable & the fact that people have mentioned about MMM & the CPA & faking job offers to get new contacts, is not my idea of growing a business, afterall most of us are in this for the long term & have got reputations to think of !

MMM is very legit. Sent this down to my list and over 150 signed up for it. Yes it's $97 a month but you will be making money in the process and that is only an investment. But it is a very well laid out coaching club.

I used MMM as a very happy customer for a few months.
I learned a lot from MMM I won't pretend like I didn't milk every last piece of knowledge I could from Mack.
I did run into something that made Mack lose me as a customer forever.
He started promoting to me..
Not even helping me in the emails he sent me..
Just promoting stupid clickbank offers.. Like Commission Blueprint.
I thought someone was pretending to be him for credibility.
When I found out it was really MACK promoting me.
He lost my trust.
Never again.
Lots to be learned though.
Matt

Maverick Money Maker Club, is not a scam and even if you're a newbie, if you take the time to go thru the CORE training, you will learn how to make money.
Yes there is a $97.00 monthly charge, but if you're going to be successful, you have to grow in knowledge... To often people want a quick fix...they jump from program to program without learning how to really market...Which is the key to success...You must know how to market... That is what Maverick Money Maker Club teaches....
I've been a member since November 08 and I've made money ever since and not just from promoting the affiliate program...You have to take the knowledge and put it into action which is where most people fail. If you haven't taken a look at it... It would be well worth your time...

Hello all,
I joined the club in the beginning of Oct. and I am still watching videos and learning here and there. I didn't really know a whole lot about affiliate marketing or any of that before I joined so overall, I am happy with the information for the most part. Yes, some things can be improved upon, but is there any system out there that can't?
Some made comments that there is an initial investment to any business you start, and that you must learn marketing in order to make money. These statements are very true and it is what I've realized the last month that I've been in MMM.
We'll see how it goes. Just implemented my first ad on google today and I have two ezine articles posted. I'll let you guys know how I do in a few weeks.

Im sure there's still bits & pieces for most people with MMM, but the promises of making susbtantial amounts of money very quickly, is misleading to say the least.
I think when this & similar products were launched, you could make a quick living, but the marketplace is much bigger & I think product saturation comes to mind.
You can't beat old fashioned hardwork & getting to know the marketplace your in & what your potential customers want & how to position yourself correctly.

Mark,
Well put. There's is a lot that you have to learn on your own that MMM just can't show you. Every single commodity, service, or product is different which makes it imposible to give someone a step-by-step procedure to make a lot of money quickly.
