Why do you feel it is unethical?

I don't think that's right either. I thought this forum was to help us all out with our questions about at home businesses, scams etc... Sounds like you're saying we have to have a quota to stay on with this forum. I don't know.

The author of this post didn't mean this forum in particular.

To my knowledge, once a forum gets going, the need for such postings are gone.

What prompts the need for such posting is when a forum is newly started and they need to encourage members to post.

As you may know, there is a reason why the wait staff will seat you toward the window in a quiet restaurant. Because that attracts more people into it.

At food courts and such, more people will tend to go to where there are longer lines! Those without any or very few customers will tend to stay that way or get worse.

It's just human psychology. You want to follow the flock and don't want to stand out on your own. Generally speaking.

It may or may not be ethical, but that's what's needed in most cases for forums to start their launch. If they need to keep paying people to post, then obviously it won't be around for long and there is something inherently wrong with its model and focus.
