Anyone tried this? I just bought it. They purport to help you write and type ads for pay, for the most part. After paying for this (I usually don't do that before googling ...), I got an email welcoming me and then saying I'll receive their "newsletter" soon.

I got the impression that I could go right to work ...

Thanks

Thanks again, pcwork. I paid $39.97, a one-time fee. I'll keep you posted on how this goes.

This was a mighty bad move. Do they tell you now that you have to sign up with a minimum of 150 survey companies in order to get paid?
I guess you will be doing a lot of registering / typing for the next couple of days, then it takes another 2 - 4 month until you finally get $2.00 - $5.00 survey invitations.
A lot of work for little pay. I refuse to pay any money for survey companies. The FREE ones are the ones that pay you!

Karls1973, which free survey databases do you know of?

It is indeed necessary, even with free companies, to sign up with at least a couple hundred companies to really benefit from doing surveys. I'd imagine that's especially true if you're in a category or demographic that's not the usual 18-49, or if your income is low, you're single, etc. (I worked in market research).

You don't mention the name of the company that you joined...

It definitely sounds like something I tried when I first got started. It pretty much told you what you could find out for free, if you know what you are looking for.

Basically, it was signing up for survey companies and paid to read emails, and, of course, promoting this "wonderful" opportunity to others.

I spent a lot of time signing up for those things, and eventually wishing I hadn't. Perhaps if I were still living in the US it would have been more profitable, but I ended up unsubscribing from all but a couple that I actually enjoyed and gained some benefit from.

I found my time to be better spent building my own online business through web sites and affiliate marketing.

That's just my 2 cents on the subject.

The name of the company is the title of this thread, LegitOnlineJobs.com.

I subscribed to them for $39.97. They just sent me another email, inviting me again to join! I sent them a notice letting them know I want the information they promised, that I've already paid and will ask for a refund if I don't get what they promised.

Again, I'll let you know how it goes as the days pass.

I've since googled them. Not much info, but some of it was positive, with some people able to say they made good money. And of course negative info, too. Although some of the negative info was from people who'd bought the subscription, some of the rest was obviously people who hadn't.

So it's too soon yet to say until I've had a chance to evaluate their program as a paid member.

Well, lack of any response from those who have bought into to this scam says it all.
Doing surveys is NOT a 'legit online job'!

Well, i did try it and so far I haven't had any luck finding anything I havent found before. All the "jobs" either require you to have a degree or you have to have a phone to use for long distance calling. I wanted to find something where I don't have to call people but if you dont have a transcription degree thats pretty much what you have to do is telemarketing! It also gives you a big list of free surveys but you can find them online without paying for it! I think I wasted my money and I waited to see if anything would work so I missed my chance to get my money back. If anyone else has tried it and has had better luck, please let me know your secret! Thanks.

doing online surveys is ok, but like it has been mentioned before, you have to sign up with hundreds of companies in order to make any kind of money, so i wouldn't call it a scam....but it takes a lot to get a little

Hi, I can only say Online job is not as easy as they advertise, and

we might think.

Everyjobs or opportunity require at least your investment on both

time and money.

If you think seriously about Online job.

I only recommend Affiliate marketing.

I hope this is helpful

HAPPY DAY

You should be awared about giving and sharing your personal

information to others mostly unknown!!~~

Most survey provide company will ask to fill out personal information

You might do for couple companies, but not more than 20..

You do that for money? Time spending, and selling ID,

I would recommend stop doing survey. I sounds rude to you,

but, You should have chosen right things to start internet business

Paid survey is not on the list my friend!!~~

Work smart live strong~!!

Happy day~^^

Hi there,
I'm still wondering about getting started with LegitOnlineJobs and before doing it I decided to do a little research so here I am. I didn't read anything about posting ads. LegitOnlineJobs claim this is one of the money making opportunities. Anyone tried this? Thanks in advance

I bought this years ago and the typing they were speaking of was answering surveys but also typing AdWords ads for affiliate that you have to pay for. Everyone knows that making more money than you spend on AdWords is a real finely tuned skill and to make it big you have to outbid everyone on your keywords so you end up at the top of the page and then get other people to come in with you on subordinate ads underneath yours on the URL that is clicked. Very tricky.

If you look at their website, they say "What you'll be doing is posting short text ads for companies and submitting them in various online forms. That's it! No prior skills or experience needed on your part. You don't need any degree in marketing to do this. Heck, you didn't even have to finish high school!"

It would appear that this is affiliate marketing. The 'posting short test ads' will mean creating ads like Google adwords and paying for clicks on your ad.

However, to succeed with using adwords as an affiliate, you will still need to do keyword research and pay for clicks on your ads.

So it is not just as easy as creating these ads - you must know what keywords to use to trigger your ads and what keywords to use that are popular enough to get clicks but not too popular that it will cost you too much for running your ad.
