While on my journey to find a legitimate work at home business, I came across the Rick Jerk among others and skimmed through his information. I didn't buy into his stuff.

I'm glad I waited because I came across my current home based business opportunity and was taught exactly how to market and where to market, using step by step online videos. The creator, Jason Pearson, is brilliant, his PPC training is incredible. He makes 1/4 of million dollars a month, so I listen to him very closely and everything he has taught me works like a charm. If you want to learn how to market effectively, send me a PM. Hope that helps!

Ok...normally I tend to think of The Rich Jerk as being overated and a little outdated, however, right now in the Rich Jerk Forum, he's actually doing a Q & A thread where people can ask him questions and he responds to them in the forum. This is VERY good information - one of the best threads I've seen in any forum anywhere!

I personally didn't care for the Rich Jerk. I guess, for me, I didn't like being called a looser. That's not positive. I wouldn't work with a company that puts down the people who don't join. He was just not a right fit for me. The company that I did find, is really working very well for me. You do what you feel is best for you.

To your massive success,
Michelle

Wow I am suprised that people are still paying for leads and traffic. What gets me is how so the called gurus will say something like, "I found this great secret on the internet 5 years ago with my brother Douglas and we are going to give it to you for a fraction of what we bought it for." Hey didn't they just say they got it for free.

Anyway I have found many better ways to develop traffic then to pay for it. One excellent way is to just put a sitemap on your website. There is nothing like free traffic.

So we have all been burned. Just chalk it up as experience. Have a great day!

I've seen that work as a marketing strategy..... it definitely resonates with some people. Not that I condone it, but as a style, I've seen it done by folks who are well-known in their fields (the guy behind Ross Jeffries is an example, always talking down to readers and calling them chums so much it's now an acronym, and I've heard of a lady who'd developed a weight loss program who'd always call people fatty or something like that, etc.)

I never felt compelled to try out a product with the name Rich Jerk. Why people would go flocking to that is beyond me.

That's like a prostitute who calls herself Tricky Snatch.

It must be the appeal...yeesh.

I have heard The Rich Jerk program was legitimate back in the day but he hasn't been keeping up to date with all the internet marketing methods. So now some of them are probably used to. So I don't think its necessarily a scam, it's just not up to date.
