You are REALLY right when you say there are online a few businesses out there that are legit. Most of these MLM businesses are only letting the top people earn money. I say start your own business or try to find businesses that have a long track record and a good BBB report. Otherwise, you will be working to make someone else rich.

Thanks Rebecca, sorry to hear of all of your troubles.
It is nice to know that our businesses didn't dissolve when we
were not working them to our fullest potential.
Now its time for me to get back to work and grow my business
again.

It is a very unique business when you can attend to family/life issues and come back to the same robust downline, customers and income you had to neglect for a bit. I am so grateful to have found Trivita and for the difference it's made to me and my family.
Thanks for you kind words of support Becky. I know we all face our own battles and trials. Through it all I've been so blessed with the wonderful support of friends, family, a great business team and the Lord. May each of you have the same as we grow & learn together.

Just a reminder to everyone:
TriVita's Nopalea Infomercial is scheduled to start this week! I checked my ABC Family listings and it looks like it will be on at 6:30am on Thursday, September 10th, in my area... For those that want to watch/record it, search for "TriVita Health" at ABC Family. 
This infomercial is unique since it will "co-brand" the Nopalea product and the cooperative marketing business opportunity that TriVita offers. This is the first time in TEN YEARS that TriVita will formally promote the business opportunity so it's quite the milestone!

I'm still trying to figure out the difference between between this and MLM though, I wonder howmuch new memers would benefit from the program since they may be less preferred to the old members.

I'm not quite sure what you mean with regard to new members being "less preferred than the old members", but I can explain the difference between this and mlm.
In the standard mlm, when an affiliate signs another affiliate to the business, they just get that 1 affiliate beneath them and the growth perpetuates from there- one, by one, by one...
With TriVita, when an affiliate signs a new affiliate at a steadfast pack, the referring affiliate does not just gain 1 new sponsored affiliate beneath them. He instead gets 1 new affiliate and 1-25 new customers along with that affiliate. This means exponential growth of an affiliate's business with each incoming affiliate having their very first income stream "given" to them with the purchase of their business.
You can almost think of it as each affiliate you sign coming in with an established business from day 1.
TriVita is mlm-like in the sense that folks earn through multiple levels- it's the exponential growth of one's business through the addition of both customers and affiliates with each affiliate sign up that makes it different.

Just a note on the new Sonoran Bloom infomercial-
Not sure if anyone here caught it when it aired Thursday, but it was pretty decent!
Denise, who posts here, was among the folks featured in the infomercial along with her son, Erik.
The really interesting thing is that though the Nopalea product was promoted, the point of the infomercial was to recruit affiliates to join the Share and Earn business model for $35, so the new MAPs being brought in through this infomercial will be actual affiliates!
This means, at some point after the October 1-3 Galaxy of Stars event, current affiliates in the business will be able to purchase AFFILIATES from the company as well as customers!
The price has not been announced for the purchase of the new Sonoran Bloom Share and Earn affiliate MAPs, but it will be just another way that TriVita allows us to build our business.

Answers to Your Nopalea Questions
With a new product comes questions about why, when and how to use it. The more popular the product is, the more frequently the questions are repeated. In this Weekly Wellness Report I have attempted to answer some of the more common questions about this wonderful anti-inflammatory product.
How much sugar, salt and iron are in Nopalea?
Nopalea™ contains NO ADDED SUGAR. It is naturally sweet. Yet it is still low-calorie and low-carbohydrate. Interestingly, the calories and carbohydrates will change from batch to batch depending on the harvest. Nopalea is "wildcrafted," meaning that Nopalea is not cultivated, and no fertilizers, pesticides or chemicals of any kind are ever used - ever! It is harvested from the Sonoran Desert by natives just as it has been for thousands of years. Since it is not cultivated, the concentration of sugars and minerals in the plant change depending on how much rain we have that year. The label will accurately reflect the concentration of constituents for that harvest.
One challenge is that Nopalea is the first product of its kind. Therefore, no "standards" data existed before we created them. So, label changes happen because we created the testing standards to accurately measure the rare and powerful constituents of Nopalea.
Will Nopalea interfere with my medications?
Your physician and pharmacist know you best - ask them! We will say this: With over 200 papers published on the benefits of the Nopal cactus superfruit in human health, we have not found even one negative reaction or drug interaction. The only caution we discovered concerns the blood-thinner warfarin (Coumadin).
If you take warfarin you need to speak with your pharmacist. Nopalea is a fruit juice. In rare instances, people on warfarin will be restricted from consuming fruit juices for a short time while their medication stabilizes. Only your physician and pharmacist know if you should be restricted from fruit juices at this time, so ask them before you take it. But we have not found a single instance of drug interaction in the medical literature; Nopalea should be very safe.
How much Nopalea can I take in a day?
The label recommends one to three ounces daily. This is based on minimum amounts in otherwise healthy people. However, the greater the level of your inflammation, the more anti-inflammatory strategies you will need. That makes sense, doesn't it? You wouldn't want to quench a forest fire with a single bucket of water!
One Member was experiencing a flare-up of a rheumatoid disorder. She had taken many remedies - prescription and non-prescription - and had seen chiropractors, acupuncturists and massage therapists. She had been in an unbroken cycle of pain for 18 months. She took additional ounces daily and broke the cycle of inflammation and pain in about three weeks. She continues to take it daily with no known adverse effects. And she is pain free.
In the early pilot trials of Nopalea we gave our test subjects 16 ounces daily. Not only did they not experience any known negative effects, their blood work universally improved.

I just joined this forum today and guess what I just joined Trivita today also through a friend who introduced me to the Cactus Juice in the Pink bottle---okay--so I'm new---I don't recall the name of the stuff, but it sure tastes good.
I have read some of the older posts that stated this is not an MLM but something else. Can anyone explain this to me? I thought it was an MLM. I have nothing to say either for or against MLM--BUT if Trivita is NOT and MLM, then how do you get paid? My friend and sponsor doesn't know either because she only signed up a few hours before me. So if anyone wishes to expound on this more I would appreciate it.

Penny,
Trivita is an MLM, but it does have another
side to it. It is called Cooperative Marketing.
This is where we cooperate or "help" Trivita
with their advertising costs by purchasing
customers from them and they "help" us by
giving us lifetime commission rights to these
customers.
This was the part a lot of people were talking
about and it not being your normal "MLM".
The "cactus juice" product that you are talking
about is called Sonoran Bloom Nopalea
and yes it does taste yummy but the results
you can receive from the product if you have
any kind of inflammation is even better.

Hi! Sorry I have not been to this great forum recently. It has been so busy with Trivita and I also "killed" two laptops and forgot the link to this forum and kept ending up on another workathome, without the "-". I still hear from many of you that come to this forum all the time via phone and email, so I did not make as much effort as I should have to get here, and I again apologize.
I just returned from the annual Galaxy of Star's. I could not update everyone every day while I was at the Galaxy of Star's like I did last year, but I literally never had time to turn on my laptop once. This was the first year Trivita had separate break out session's for the Director's in addition to the Director's dinner. There were also people there in team's in addition to our's and Trivita employee's that wanted to visit in the short time between meetings, receptions and dinner's so I literally was running from one function to the next.
The Galaxy of Star's was even better this year than last year, and the focus is very clearly on Sonoran Bloom Nopalea. I received a lovely crystal statue as a 1 Star Director that is even heavier than last year's, LOL! I went on the morning walk with Dr. Minshew - you will probably see us, we were filmed by Trivita. It was great, not only did Dr. Minshew go over product's, he went over the natural plant's in the Sonoran Desert and pointed them out, including the Nopal cactus.
There were two very moving testimonials on Nopalea, many new updates to both our Sonoran Bloom and Trivita site, we have great training material's at Sonoran bloom too! Now you all will appreciate this - on the flight to AZ someone behind me saw me reading "Health Magazine". He tried to give me the Secret Killer Report that we have available to us on inflammation in our Sonoran Bloom backoffice. I showed him the page where my son is, LOL! and told him we were going to the same event and I take Nopalea by the case between my husband, son, dog and I. USE THE SECRET KILLER REPORT - it works!
Galaxy of Stars Schedule
Thursday: Many people toured the TriVita Office and Global Shipping on Thursday afternoon. In the evening we had a great time at the kick-off event which was a buffet meal along with entertainment and awards.
Friday: The meeting went from 9am - 12:00 Noon and then 2pm - 4pm. That evening was the Director's Dinner which was exceptional. I sat at a table with the head of the IT dept. so heard alot about great future enhancements to the sties.
Saturday: The meeting went from 9am - 12:30. In the afternoon the meeting went from 2:30 - 5:00, and there was a special Director's breakout meeting during the same time. That evening was the Gala Dinner with more entertainment and awards.

Look for people to go from very few points and a small group to 4 star affiliate and Director level's and beyond , but only if they follow the Three Step Process, Get 2 It!, and the Nopalea Wellness Challenge which you will learn more about this week and next.
- No fee to sign up as an Affiliate Member starting Monday, October 12.
- No social security number needed when signing up. This information will need to be supplied after an AM is paid $500.
- New Sonoran Bloom Wellavoh multi-vitamin coming in November. This will be offered in both a men's and women's formula.
- New packaging for all products (except Nopalea). This will be a pearl color and it looks great.
- Your back office at MyTrivita.net will be updated in "real time" with current points and volume starting November 1.

I received my direct deposit to my bank account for this week.
Lots of improvements to Trivita's backoffice and lots of movement
lately, this is a great long term income program that must be
considered by everyone that is looking to make some real money
online.

Make sure, if you are a Trivita affiliate, that you are getting on the new training series that started Tuesday evening on Sonoran Bloom Nopalea. Leading with the product is so easy, especially with this product. My family, friend's and many in my downline and upline have experienced amazing results with reductions in inflammation ranging from diabetes, heart disease to arthritis, asthma and psoriasis.
Become acquainted with the Get2It program that will open up once the new Sonoran Bloom infommercial air's in November. I am featured in the infommercial and had a great time filming this! WOW! the home we filmed the Sonoran Bloom Nopalea infommercial in was fabulous. Terry Newsome, the National Sales Director for Trivita made us all feel so at ease. Many of us saw the first vs. of the new infommercial on the Family Channel in the USA a few week's ago. Several more vs. are being tested now, so it will not be long until we are up and airing! This will be great because it will be the first time we have the opportunity to purchase affiliates as well as member's (customer's). Trivita will also continue airing the well known Sublingual B12 infommercial, so we will have two running.
Many of us are taking the time to call our current customer's and if they have not yet ordered Nopalea, you can send them a Gift of Health. I just had one of my son's customer's upgrade to a Sonoran Bloom affiliate this week. This customer was also a win back customer - which means they had not ordered anything for 7 month's and are now an affiliate with a case of Nopalea on autoship. You just never know.

Casper, when I was in the director break out sessions at the Trivita annual convention a couple of weeks ago we discussed international expansion and it appear's Australia may be the first country we enter. Things could change, but this market was already tested and it came up in the meeting for director's and in one of the general session's for all Trivita affiliates.
Prior to that time, you can join but must have an EIN (USA tax id no) and a shipping address in the USA. We have ways to do this as Don mentioned, but there is the additional forwarding cost to get product to Australia. I have a few from Australia already and other's that prefer to wait until Sonoran Bloom officially launches internationally in 2010.

Yes Trivita is definitely a MLM to deny it is disingenuous, When you say that in most MLM biz "top people" are making the money..
Key is to become one of the "top people"
Of course it's important to remember that the product you are selling especially in the health wellness arena which is now overrun because there are so many of them, is not over priced.
Starting a business of your own in this economy is risky at best.

Lots of growth last month and Trivita is still the #1 Business in my portfolio.
Long Term and always improving.
There are no more fees to sign up for Trivita, just get 1 bottle of Nopalea on Autoship and
you are Share & Earn qualified you can start to purchase MAP customers right away and earn
commissions.
