I'd just give it some time. It's probably a standard server crash. This happens to everything online that gets a large amount of traffic. I wouldn't worry to much about it.

People need to not get so worried about everything that doesn't run smoothly if they can help it at all and here's why.

There's virtually nothing TCLS can do to scam you or take your money or anything that would leave you screwed over.

When you send and receive gifts in TCLS you do it through alertpay NOT TCLS. TCLS has nothing to do with the transaction what so ever. All you do is copy the receipt and send it to TCLS so they can confirm that you actually followed through and didn't cheat the system. It's seems like everyone gets paranoid everytime there's a flaw in the system. I'm hoping this will ease some people's paranoia.

BTW this has nothing to do with the people commenting on the servers above but rather just an overall feeling I get from people. Although I do sense some paranoia there as well.

What exactly how does the Free Text Ad Exchanges really work? How do they work? I was thinking about trying that.

I'm not much for freaking out over things like this but it is a bit of a concern that it's been offline all day. You would figure that they would send a message out to their members to explain the issue.

This is a little abnormally long for a server to be down. I'm not sure what's going on. I just wanted to point out that people money is safe because it is with alertpay not TCLS.

also if you look through the pages in this thread it apparently has happened before and been fixed although i wasn't with TCLS then so I don't know the details.

I thought it was a little long too, especially without an update to say that was the reason.

My concern wasn't my money, thanks for pointing that out to people. My concern was if they didn't come back online then people would be out of luck with the program, especially if they had just started.

This is the reason I don't put all my eggs in one basket so I don't have to freak out when one of my programs goes belly up. (Not saying TCLS has)

Its Christmas you guys! Lets all just hope that the powers that be at TCLS are away or are out of town with Family and don't have a clue this has even happened! Its not like the site has been shut down. The message says its Exceeded Bandwidth, this is NOT a bad thing. This is acually a VERY cool problem to have (because it means the site is overloaded) and I am sure that they will get it resolved as soon as they can! Please everyone enjoy your Christmas and maybe we can all get back to our system soon!

I found this below by doing some research on bandwidth. Apparently we just have to wait for the end of the month if nothing changes before then. (kinda lame I know but at least we probably know whats up now)

"Bandwidth quota" is a technical way of saying how many bits of information a site is allowed to transfer in a given period of time. A typical hosting plan has a quota of a few gigabytes per month. Some particularly inexpensive (or free) hosting plans have quotas of only a few hundred megabytes, or have daily quotas. When a Web site has transferred that much information already, it becomes unreachable until the quota period ends. This means a site could be out of action until the end of the day or even the end of the month."

BTW, Julsy makes some good points as to why this can be viewed as a good thing. It does mean the site is getting lots of traffic.

Good research. I'm sure by next Thursday things will be back to normal.

For me it's just annoying because the admin has been MIA for who knows how long. And anyone looking to get into the program now may see the error and pass it up for good and move on.

It is true that it's a good sign because they are getting a lot of traffic but a bad sign in terms of customer service. Guess we need to take it as it comes. We do have to remember that it was only a $25 investment. That's dirt cheap and you can't be expecting the sky as far as service and extra perks.

It's not that the admin is MIA. Since it is a non profitable community and since you don't pay any fees to join that means no one is getting paid which means there really isn't an admin or support. They instead try explaining everything as detailed as possible in the FAQ.

The problem is that this simply won't work sometimes because people have so many variables to their problems to be able to answer in their FAQs page.

I have emailed them with a potential solution to this by suggestion they offering a donations section in their members page for successful members to donate a little bit towards a functional email support staff but I doubt it will ever be read because they are so swamped with emails from people asking every little question imaginable.

It really as simple as, the best thing about this system is also the worst thing. It's great that you don't pay TCLS anything at all to join and that there are no monthly fees and they don't even ever handle your money, let alone charge you any. But in exchange you only get probably one guy answering emails and he's doing it for free. So if you need help with something you might have to do some dreaded research to answer your question instead of the simple email.

hope this helps clear things up a bit.

And sometimes it has nothing at all to do with FAQ's or expecting the sky as far as service...it just has to do with expecting the service to be up and running. Especially during a time when many are off their regular jobs and have ample time to work the system.

Doesn't inspire much confidence when the whole thing shuts itself down at the precise time one gets everything up and ready to promote

Iceburgh871: It's not that the admin is MIA
I just meant that in terms of updates in the back office (they were pretty consistent and we hadn't seen one since mid October) and emailing the members when something like this happens. I totally agree and can imagine the admin being 2 guys that just can't handle the volume of emails. A lot of the problem with this is people don't talk with their downline and offer help or people don't turn to their upline first. I can imagine a lot of the questions people are sending to the admin could easily be answered by their sponsor. Or just doing a little research.

I really do agree with this too. This really is an important time and any down time the system just means less sign ups and concerns of the stability of the program. Though it's not my fault, I feel awful for a members of my downline who got started recently and can't even get their start because the system is down. Since I'm so community minded I make myself personally responsible because I'm the one that got them in. But that's just the way I roll, I guess.

I know it's upsetting. I am just trying to let everyone know it's not time to panic. They did not shut themselves down. They were forced to temporarily cos they had more visitor than they were allowed to have. Not a bad thing by any means

Just try to have a happy holiday and not worry about this stuff so much.

Don't know if this helps but, I signed in my husband for him to take the tour on Monday Dec 22 and everything seemed ok. Obviously we saw that on Tuesday there was a problem. With that said he has been receiving auto responder emails asking him to join. He received one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday.
We really hope there is nothing wrong here because we were making some pretty good money with this program.

I don't think there will be a problem with your current account. I assume your husband has a different email and the network is sending these autoresponders as a means for him to join the network. This should not effect your account.

For those of you that are TCLS members-- make sure you check that your forwarded web address didn't get deleted! Ours did! So basically none of our ads were forwarding to our member site and we just realized it, since the site was down we had to re-enter it! not sure if it was just a small glitch or if it happened to everyone!

My forwarding web address still works fine. I got mine through GoDaddy and haven't had a problem at all. Sorry to hear you did though dani, but so glad you caught it! Its always a GREAT idea to click on your own links from time to time, just to make sure everything works as it should.

I just hate finding out someone joined under someone else, because my link didn't work properly!

Oh yes, I am fast approaching $500 in earnings from TCLS!!!
Hardly $75K in 5 weeks though!

Solo email ads are the way to go for me!
