Any motivators (aka goals) have to be personal and meaningful. You have to have a strong "why" before you will take action. The only thing that ultimately matters is the action you take to get to your goal. If you are NOT taking action then you need to reassess if your goal is one that you truly want.

Everything we do starts with a thought (I want to make money) which converts into a feeling (yeah, this is great) and ultimately to an action (we join an online biz, learn marketing, etc.). Thoughts, feelings AND actions are how we get to our goals.

Where most of us fall short (me included) is that we think and feel but don't always ACT. And, if we don't act long enough we really need to take a look at whether we are doing something that truly inspires us.

Another thing is that goals must be so personal that it makes us get out of bed in the morning and hit the ground running. Don't make your goal to just make money. Instead, think about what that money will do for you (vacation, time spent with family, etc.).

That's your true motivator - not the money!

For me, it's money and making sales. The more money I make, the more I am driven to work even more.
When business is slow, I have to admit that I struggle at staying motivated.

lol - that is me in a nutshell some days...

The best motivator I have found is the "why". Why did I start doing this business in the first place? Did you write down your goals before you started your work-at-home pursuit? Pull it out of the drawer or file folder and post it above your computer!

The second best motivator that keeps me working consistently each day is that I believe with my whole heart it is going to pay off. Now, I can spend an inordinate amount of time doing things that don't make me money - such as cleaning my desk, reading posts, and learning some new technique for marketing, so I have to remind myself to focus on the tasks and actions that actually make me money.

My favorite motivation quote well it's not really motivation but it helps me get clear on what I want to do.

"What would you do if you knew you could not fail"

Motivation. My kids. That's a big one. You just have to keep your eye on the big picture. Imagine how life will be when you're successful. That will take you far. Best of luck.
