Has anyone bought and used the Small-Business Survival Tax Package from the Tax Reduction Institute?

 It's located at:

 Click on "tax savings".

 Hi Robert,

One of my team bought it and said it was the best thing ever, I can't say that I am or will purchase it because it is for American's and not us Canadians, but if you go through the recorded trainings, somewhere in there is a call with "botkins" I think his name is, he will tell you all about it.

 Hi Lindsay!

Actually there IS a package he put together for us Canucks too! I don't have it but I hear its great!

I personally have a great accountant, so I keep copies of everything and just send over the tidy shoebox quarterly!

 Cheers

 Hi Jani:
I'm thinking of moving from Sitka, Alaska, USA to Vancouver, BC, to do this business. Also, I want to be an apprentice for Northwest Coast Indian Art in Vancouver. Or is it call Northwest Coast Aborginal Art in Canada?

Anyway, do you have any pointers on doing this business in Canada? I will be a dual citizen, a citizen of both the USA and Canada. I qualify to be a dual citizen, since both my maternal and paternal grandparents are from BC.

 Thank You,
 Robert

I didn't know they put a tax package together for canadians, I will have to take a look, Thanks Jani....

As for doing this business in Canada....when I talked to an accountant.....he had a couple of hints.....

How big is your home office? (As big as possible) - You can only write off a % of your mortgage and bills based on this...

Does your spouse work? (Who earns higher income)

There were a couple more, but I will have to find my notes!! and my daughter isn't being a great help at the moment, so I will get back to you!

 Hi Roger,
Do you have Northwest Indian blood in you? I love Northwest Indian culture and art. I am from Oregon and took a course on Indian history in college at Lewis and Clark. My professor there was a big advocate of Indian rights.

This is not the first time in these forums, I get called Roger when Robert is the name that's supposed to be said and you get called Roger when they actually mean Robert - the worst part of all is my wife calls me Jim.

 Who the heck is Jim??

No I haven't yet and should have, I have a big tax bill because I didn't have a person working for me all year.

I have a very good and ethical CPA who is my attorney as well and that's the way I like to do taxes, don't need any problems with good ole IRS.

But it's always good to read tax strategies especially for the SE.
I will have to look into it. I just started with CSG and haven't had time to look into all that they offer.

There is a new biz opp floating around that mentions off shore tax free income OUCH I cannot believe that this biz opp is allowed legally. NOT one I would care to join

They have a sharp banner tho.

 Terri
