Is anybody familiar with mycoastal dot net? It seems to be a pretty good package deal for a lot less than other groups. I was wondering if anyone is currently using their services or have in the past. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

 Brandon

I had never heard of it until this post. Where did you find them? I just wonder how much it costs after the 30 days?

 According to their website:

it is 99 cents for the first 30 days and then as follows:

 10k Contacts - $0.99/30 days - $29.95 month after
 15k Contacts - $0.99/30 days - $39.95 month after
 $199 per year - 10,000 contacts - SAVE 40%

however i don't know if that is 10,000 contacts per month or per year.

This is a list from the site that explains what you get:

 1. A Backoffice with real time reporting of who is visiting your site - follow up in minutes
 2. A Beautiful 18-page Web Site
 3. An Awesome Flash Commercial -
 4. A Full-Featured Autoresponder with built-in HTML editor
 5. Fresh, Quality Lead Providers - Real people that are ready to look at your business NOW.
 6. Recorded Conference Call Library
 7. Training System - Step-by-Step, A-B-C and 1-2-3 training that is educational, enjoyable and honest!

I do not endorse or promote this site, I just came across it while googling coastal vacations. I know other groups charge from $30-$89 and up per month. I was just wondering if anyone had expereince with it. I know that CSG and WCYS are very well represented on this forum, I would just like to know how this compares.

Hi Brandon, it's hard to tell from the website, but this looks more like an add-on contact management/lead system. In other words, they are not selling the Coastal package - they are selling a tool to use with your Coastal business.

I have not seen it before or heard of it, but it looks like a reasonable system. You may want to use their Live Contact link and see if you can get your questions answered that way.

Feel free to post here anything you learn that may be useful to us. The reps here are always looking for ways to improve their business.

 Dawn

Looks interesting as a possiblilty for bulk email marketing since you can import leads into the autoresponder and only follow up with those who request contact.

I wonder how many leads you can import in the first 30 days for 99 cents to try it out.

Keep us posted on what you find out and the monthly costs.

 Rhonda

That is how I understand it as well. I have tried to contact them through their live help, but it says that their representatives are currently unavailable. I also checked and their security certificate is invalid/out of date on their order page. It looks interesting but if it doesnt have a support team behind it, whats the benefit...

 Hello

we used mycoastal as an extra add on system 4-5 yrs ago when Geoey owned it.

We stopped using it because the autorepsonder system and tracker were not functioning as described. However that was many years ago and they may have sorted the issue out by now.

Looking at the website, I am not convinced that they have updated it in a while as the Platinum package is not even mentioned (at least I could not find the link).

 cheers
 maria

That's the impression I got also, Maria. It looks like the website it no longer maintained.
