Hey all,
The light is starting 2 come on in my head, I think... When it comes to using a blog as a landing page...Do you have to update the blog if it is used as a landing page? And vise versa....Should you update the landing page if its just used to get the user to the product that you are promoting?

If you want your blog to appear in the search engine listings as high as possible, you need to update frequently!! I've found that you have to update blogs more frequently than landing pages on a website.

Hi, I wouldn't squander the potential of a blog, and trade the potential of a blog in for a landing site. Landing site are more static, as blogs are like your own newspaper where you add news snippets as often as you want, and can. Google search engine is in love will blogs and will reward you by a good ranking.  Roseanne

Even if you are using the blog as a landing page I would recommend updating regularly because it can increase your chances on getting picked up by Google and giving you more exposure.

The more frequently you update your landing pages, the higher google seems to rank you.
