How long did it take you to sell your first ClickBank Product?

 a couple of days...

it helps to get started early too. as more and more people do this,
there will be more competition. i've heard many people say it was so
 easy a few years back.

many people used that opportunity to catapult their business and build
their lists. some of the "proofs" you see are the result from them
taking advantage of the opportunity back then.

Quoting: 040107 a couple of days... it helps to get started early too.
I'm been trying to promote cb products since Aug and haven't been able to sell anything.

Right now I'm promoting a very popular Survey product through cb

When possible, I'm advertising it under Business Op/Work From Home.

As far as you know, is there any one state or city in the USA that seems to buy more than the others?

My first CB sale came from me! I used my own hoplink to buy a product I was interested in trying.

Apart from that I put about 50-100 classified ads out there and have never sold anything from them in over a year.

The only other CB sales I have made have been through my chocolate candy web site - there are two CB products for designing your own personalized candy bar wrappers, etc.

I realized after a couple of months that I wasn't going to get very far promoting the various CB products because I wasn't willing to buy the advertising. So many people are buying PPC that it isn't very likely to generate many sales using the free methods - imo.

I am much happier with the results of promoting affiliate products through a niche website than randomly advertising various products using other methods. I must admit, though, some people claim to be doing quite well with those methods - I just wasn't determined or savvy enough to do it, I guess.

You just answered another question I had which was using my hoplink to buy a cb product. It looks like that will be the only way I'm going to get a cb sale lol.

But you probably won't get paid until you have 4 different orders
from different people/payment methods (Paypal, visa, mastercard, discover) or something like that.

So eventually you'll still have to make more sales.

I don't even promote CB products any more. It's a waste of time.

For some reason I did receive my first check from CB even though I was the only one who ordered - but that was a year and a half ago.

They owe me money at the moment, but they won't pay out until you have purchases from 4 different credit cards or accounts as mentioned by 040107 above.

Here's the thing, if you don't have any purchase for a couple of months, they start taking money every week out of your previous earnings. Pretty rotten, I think, but that's what they do. I had to purchase something again myself to keep from losing what I had already earned.

Just something to keep in mind.
