lol, the Mike Tyson one is funny.

I've always felt Oscar Wilde had a way with words. Here's one of his I really like:

"I am not young enough to know everything."

A consistent pattern of thought on a subject of desire will bring you corresponding reality without taking the physical steps that you are accustomed to taking. Thought is powerful and transformative.

Not a quote but something I remind myself regularly.

When I am frustrated and wondering if it is worth it, I remind myself that....

This is where everyone else gives up!

And

That which does not kill me, makes me stronger.

Adversity is what make me who I am. I never regret it.

Hi Shelly,

I was recently reminded of one of my favourite quotes and mentioned it in another post (can't remember where, I must be at that age LOL) and is from the famous scientist Isaac Newton who said:-

"If it appears that I can see further it's because I am standing on the shoulders of giants". He obviously felt somewhat humbled by others who had helped him and who he had learned from.

best wishes,

Mal.

I just heard this one the other day it made me chuckel!

"My doctor's say I am doing better but I don't think so and neither do I!"

Very Freudian phrase I think!

A few that make me laugh:

"No problem is too big to run away from."
-Charles Shultz

"You tried and you failed miserably. The lesson is: never try."
-Homer Simpson

"Why be prejudiced against someone because of their race or religion or creed, when there are so many real reasons to hate others?"
-Emo Phillips

There is not a more pleasing exercise of the mind than gratitude. It is accompanied with such an inward satisfaction that the duty is sufficiently rewarded by the performance. ~Joseph Addison

I often have new quotes I like but this one is always on the top of the list:
