Hi i have just joined and thought I pop in to say hello. With my 2 daughters grown and fled as it were I am looking for ways to fill my time and thought I might get a blog or website going that could earn me a bit of pin money and maybe some friends. Joint the site to try and save myself from some some dodgy scam type sites/programmes. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome, I have been here 4 months and I stop by every day and learn something new. Its overwhelming at first, but your head should clear in a couple months. lol.

Hi Claire in Kent,
I think it's really fantastic that you are tackling the online world of internet marketing for a diversion and that 'pin money.' Grin.
I only started it myself about 2 years ago as I was nearing 40 and without any web experience. I wanted to make a few extra shekels myself to do some 'extras' for family. Who knew I was going to fall in love with the whole process and it would turn into something so much more? Well, not me, that's for sure.
I have loved every minute of learning a new skill and challenging my brain. I've also enjoyed the trickle of pennies that became a steady stream and becomes more encouraging as each month passes. 
I hope you have at least as wonderful an experience as I've had so far. That'll show those young ones that they aren't the only ones who can figure out these computer things!
Looking forward to seeing more of you around here.
