Hi, I'm wondering how much time should I spend on the net, to earn decent living from internet. I'm always distracted when surfing which end up doing things away than I'm intended to do.

To a some degree that will continue to happen.

You just have to discipline yourself to get the things done to build your business. Set up a time frame in which you want to get certain things done, whether hourly, daily, or weekly.

As to earning a decent living with only a certain amount of hours required. Not sure their is a magic number, if it was everyone would be applying it and be well paid by now. It's not that simple.

Just work to use your time wisely, more than not.

When it comes to making money online, it is not so much how much time you spend online but rather how effectively you use that time.

I agree with freecashman - you need to discipline yourself. You could use a day planner and start marking down what hours you will focus solely on your business. And then stick to it.

Another thing to consider, aside from the quality of the time you spend online, is how much you want to make.

There are some forms of casual work that will allow you to earn $5 in 15 minutes of work just for performing simple tasks for them like finding certain types of websites or rewriting a few lines of texts to make it look more presentable.

How are you trying to earn money online? Freelance work? GPT? Business promotion?

You should spend as much time as necessary to make the kind of income you want. That will be different for each person. However, the time span can be shortened considerably when you learn how to focus your efforts and avoid the distractions.
