 Hi
Has anyone out there had any experience with rebate processing? I started doing some research on types of work at home jobs on the Internet, and this concept came up. Any advice you can give me?

have either of you (above) signed on or have any further info about this? I got approached by "paidrefunds.com"... but they require you to pay $100 up front... but there is also a 60 day guarantee??? Anyone's advice or experience is appreciated. I also get the impression that there is a hidden other task - that YOU have to drive people to some web site and get them to buy something - Before you get to "process" their refund... it says otherwise sneakily - but just my gut instinct talking there.

 THNX!

Has anyone noticed that dataentrypro.com and paidrefunds.com seem so similiar in their advertising, offerings and looks? With email inquiries sent to each with no reply, and to the link at the bottom of the page referring to sending emails for money.
If anyone hears different, pass it on. Please

FYI: Clickbank's policy on refunds (Clickbank is referred to by these business):http://www.clickbank.com/paychecks.html

 "Refunded sales.
If a customer dispute cannot be resolved we may be forced to refund the sale. When a sale is refunded the customer receives a 100% refund, and payouts from that sale are debited back out of the corresponding publisher and affiliate accounts. From the publisher's account we also deduct $1 per refunded online check sale. (There is no similar deduction for credit card refunds.)"

I signed up and paid my $40 to do rebate processing with a company from Alberta, Canada. As I am also in Canada, I thought this would be a good choice. They took my money, and sent me a few emails promising to send the first assignment in the "next week". I never received anything of value from them. No assignments, no start up kit (which was promised in the website ad) etc. Looks to me like this is just a scam.

I also signed up for Rebate Processors in Alberta, they sent me an email with a password and site to login to. The password does not work so I sent a reply, they replied back and said to "try again, the seems to be working" well it does not. Everyone stay away from this one.

I have been trying to obtain information concerning the rebate processing now for several weeks. I have yet to get a reply from anyone. I have noticed that no matter which rebate ad you click on it takes you back to the same orginal rebate processing ad. This is a bit odd considering that I looked at ads posted from Georgia, Ohio, as well as other states. I think we all should be very cautious about this one. Although, if someone gets some sort of reply or information that would support this " opportunity" please let me know.
 thanks RRM

I wanted to update you folks on the rebate site.
It seems to have been taken off line. Hmm.
Although I have continued to search look for a real legit work
at "Home Opportunity" where we can make money that we can deposit in our bank accounts I havent found it yet.
I do want to give a head up on the type at home opportunity
located at this address www.type-at-home.com I havent really
gotten a response other than just automated emails.
I'll let you folks know as soon as I get the low down on this one.

 Thanks
  RRM

After posting my update I noticed a link at the end of this page.
I highly suggest that everyone read the work at home advice.
It gives a sound start at how to go about looking for work that we can do at home. http://www.work-at-home-forum.com/kb/
Just wanted everyone to see what were up against.
 Thanks

Don't waste your money on these sites advertising to make money at home. Check if the web site or business is legit at http://search.bbb.org/

This is a scam and you will never get your money back..

Of course this is a scam. Why pay them so they can employ you? That's literally tossing your money away.

I also received this email with this address:

 http://www.processathome.com/nd/index22.php

don't know if it's legit. And of course there is a fee and a hefty one at that. I know, everyone has said it a million times, don't pay to work from home if it's for someone else, but I have a feeling it's for someone to start their own rebate processing business.

 Any thoughts would be great.

 TIA!!

 Lucia

If they ask for a deposit, I would say with almost 100% certainty that it would NOT be legit.

If they ask for money, keep looking

I searched this topic and found that this work "rebate processor" is not really what it is cracked up to be. First, you get a list of companies who want their products sold. Second, you must create a website ($$$money$$$) that sells their product and if anyone buys from this website if the customer follows thru with the purchase, eventually you will make a commission. Nothing is guaranteed, there is no upfront jobs. Advertising costs on the internet are very spendy - did it, know it! Unless there is a high demand for a particular product, so to speak, a lot of sales, the cost for the internet advertising will be too high and the profit will not cover the cost.

Hey, I have been checking the work at home sites also. I am not sure about the rebate processing. I do mystery shopping and have for several years. I have been paid for everyone I 've done. Some only pay $5.00, some more. I do eat out, go to the movies and shop and get paid for doing it. I work with the same companies, they have referred me to others. Just check them out carefully. I don't make a lot but enough to play.

Does anyone know of a legitimate way to earn some money from home. I have a job as a lab manager at a local College that I plan to keep, but I am finding, being recently divorced, that one income when you are used to two makes it tight at the end of the month.

Thank you all for posting your responses on the web. I was initially excited, but you are right. It is too good to be true. You saved me time and money at a vulnerable time, with a baby on the way. I'm willing to work, and will keep looking. Thanks for introducing me to scamxposer.com What a wonderful thing the internet is, where we can find out scams before we fall for them.

if they claimed they need many many people, why set limit to the number of sign-ups? doesnt make sense, does it?

it's true, if they ask for money, keep looking...never, ever give out your credit card number, you'll never get it back..

one more trick, if u want to find out if its true, call them! cant find the number? there u go!

if u do find a number, be sure u talk to a person, not automated phone call.

It"s got all the makings of a scam, I personaly wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Most of that stuff was designed with one thing in mind, to take your money!!!! There are so many get rich quick scams out there and thats all they are, scams. When they tell you that you can make maga bucks the first week or month turn around and run. Really quite simple.

 To mrcoolno1,

Hello to all of you. About this "process at home" I fell for it, and not only me but my husband, who is very savy about this type of stuff, researched it for me and couldn't find anything that sounded bad. That is until you send them your $197.00. Once you do that you find out that it is actually writing ads, you must set up a web site, join click bank, etc....... I knew I was in trouble when 30 minutes after I submitted my money, my banks service company called me to find out if I had authorized this payment. I did eventually get my money back through click bank, I just told them that this was a scam, that my bank contacted me and I was taking action. I had my money back in 1 week. The lady that contacted me was Angel Stevens, supposedly from New York but the emails were coming out of California.

If any of you out there know of a legitimate work at home job please let me know. I have a daughter going to college in the fall and I would love to help her pay for her education rather than take out student loans. Please email me at [email protected]

Thank and best of luck to you all.

For those of you trying to find a legit work at home opp I can recommend the fuller Brush Company. It is a simple, VERY inexpensive way to have a home business. I am currently NOT a fuller Brush rep, but I have made real income each time I became an independent rep. For money to be earned you must have a needed service or product that will be consumed. There really is no other way so please don't be fooled by all these fluffy money scams.
 Cheers!

 Hi! Everyone,

I just want to share my experience with all of you! Ever sence 1991 after graduating from the FIDM, I could not find a job! I have tried assebly, mailings, to MLM. All of them are scams! MLM was the one that was somewhat legit! You have to be very careful! Then comes Networking Marketing and Direct Sales! Now, Data Entry to Processing Rebates! I have spent over $1,000.00 since 1991 of my own money tring to find something that I can do out of my home so I can raise my children! Pretty much most of them are all scams!

With MLM, they always ask for money up frount and a monthly fee for you to get to the top. Spending your own money to get to the top and/or purchasing a god awful amount of money thousands$$ a month just to get to the top! You hardly make any money!

Any company asking you to send them money is a scam!

NM and DS are legit companies. Some of them ask you to purchase a case or more of their product, spending thousands of dollars, that is not legit! You are sitting on prodct that has to be sold! This is for people who knows how to sell! IF you can find a company that you only have to purchase the product on a monthly basis and it it used in that month and it works for you, that is legit! Companies have a referral system and you get paid for that referral, that is legit! Right now, a lot of compaies are doing the referral system and it is a wonderful program! Theses companies do bonuses of extra pay to cars! These companies will help you earn money! If you do not make money , they do not make money! Plus, they work as a family and they care! That is a plus for anyone!

I feel for all of you who have been scamed for I have been scamed too much!
