Let me discuss one of the thing happened to me. I am aware of computer virus and their effects. I know it can harm the system, destroy files and hard disc. But a funny thing happened to me.
I received a mail from some person explaining about a product. I clicked that link. It got me to a site where it explained about the product. That window i left open. Then after some time i opened my site for updating some details.
Hurr.... What happened is when i entered the address of my site it redirected to that product site. I was perplexed. I just opened my ftp and to my shock, i saw my sites source code has been altered by that virus site. It just had one line to be redirected. Then i closed that site and changed the source code with the back up i was having. So remember...
1. To take back up of your site
2. Dont ever open any mail from strangers...
