Hi Laurisuk,
Use Squidoo for sure. Use a blog if you have something to blog about for a long period of time.
By the way, though Squidoo as a whole might be thought of as a blog with many authors, a Squidoo page by it self is not a blog per se.
For the individual lensmaster (Squidoo webmaster) it's more like an article directory with additional functions.
Just wanted to clarify that for you ;)

Yes NS would be the right person. He uses squidoo to the fullest.
I don't use blogspot any more. I plan to try and experiment with squidoo lenses. For some odd reason I dont like the layout and administration of blogspot.
Some people also say the same thing. Instead of squidoo or blogspot can we try your own domain name with a wordpress theme.
Any idea on this ?

wordpress is simple when you get the hang on it on your own. Cpanel makes things 10x easier if hosting your own.
I do it =]. Its amazing.
So much functionality. So many plugins and things to do! It might be a little overwhelming at first.

I use blogspot for my game review site because of the adsense, squidoo has a wierd communal way of paying out the adsense income(a little too socialist for me)But squidoo is great for targeted marketing of a particular product. But thats just me.

Blogger has some nice features, but Squidoo is probably better for traffic...IF you do what you need to do to get your lens indexed. Personally, I prefer Wordpress.

I'm also going to jump on the squidoo boat! Once you go through it a couple of times it gets easier and easier. Plus there are some really cool features!

Blogger: Can customize your blog any way you want with custom pre-built templates, none of your adsence goes to Squidoo and a simple to add a gadget.
Squidoo: Takes partal of your adsence earnings and not noob friendly HTML editor.
Personally I would rather use blogger than Squidoo, because with Squidoo, they are making some of your money more off your adsence and amazon links when someone clicks on them, but with blogspot, if you have adsence and someone clicks on your ads, you get the full commission.
Squidoo vs Blogger for MarketingI think they both are very popular marketing wise and you can't go wrong with either one there.

Hi AfunGuy,
I hear you on the Adsense on Squidoo thing. That's how Squidoo makes their money though. They have to do it somehow.
The trade-off is that they have money modules and they are very liberal about allowing affiliate links.
Blogger is great too ;)
To bold your text on a forum, you'll have to use brackets "[" rather than gt & lt signs.

If i had to choose btw which of the two, i would say blogger, simply because its better for adsense, with the ability to use custom templates.
but i dont have to choose between the two, so i have both. But then there was wordpress, and i saw that it was good. so lo and behold i got a wordpress too.
cheers

Both of them are good, It's just a matter of where are you comfortable using. I used both anyway but I earned more in Squidoo through their amazon link.

I would recommend to use both. You can link from your squidoo to your blog and vice versa. This will definitely help your squidoo or blog se ranking.

I agree with garygoh, I am using both of them,
As a results, I was able to post both on my blog!
Just one thing better about Squidoo, it is easier to get
traffict to your site. You will get links to amazon, and google..
Blog itself, you won't get traffic without doing advertising...
But, You can post as many as you want, and you can have google
adsense on your blog.
So, My recommendation is Use both BLOG, and SQUIDOO!!
Happy day~^^

The more links you have pointing to your site the better PR you will have. If you can make a blog and point it to your lens of viceaversa then you will help yourself out. Both methods are free and they can compliment each other if you know how to link back and forth. Plus it also gives you more landing pages.

Squidoo is the bomb and NS is a great help with it, especially with his how-to lens.
I personally use both as that way I can link them together and have the adsense ads on my blog bu draw more traffic with Squidoo.. it makes for a nice combo but you do need to optimize both your blog and lens correctly with keywords to get the best results.

I use both!!! I make more money right now on Squidoo and I love how easy it is. Blogger is a great platform for blogs and on going diaries. It's fun to use too, but it's a lot different from Blogger.

I definitely agree that you should use as many free resources as you're comfortable with. As they say, the more the merrier!

I love Squidoo, and will always favour it over other blog sites. However, everybody is right with the forth and back linking because it creates more traffic.
