Hi, Lars
I'll tell you this: I think, ultimately, we participate in any business not for the dollar sign, but for the lifestyle that we think we deserve and rarely have in actuality.
That's what I tell all my guys - don't focus on the number, focus on the actual benefit that you are trying to receive in return for your efforts.
I remember when I was making $10 per hour working construction when I just came to America, I caught myself actually watching my watch all the time and multiplying the amount of hours I spent at the job that week by $10. I was doing it every few minutes! Didn't get me too far.
As far as my personal results - I started doing the Internet marketing thing less than a year ago and, as a result, we just moved with my lovely wife from Iowa (that I hated all these years with all my heart) to a sunny California. Can you put a dollar sign on this?
I think, I actually screwed it up by starting from a high-ticket items before I learned about the ClickBank, but after all it takes pretty much the same amount of work to promote an "item" weather it's a $17 e-book or a $3,000.00 membership.
Good luck with your efforts!

You guys are all criminals!! The only people who make money are criminals or work in the Mint/Federal Reserve...the rest of us have to earn money!

Making money online is not as easy as most marketers make it sound. In fact most people who are marketing to you have not made a dime.
But it is very possible to make lots of money online. I think its important to find the right program for you. Also most people quit way to soon. They think if they are not a overnight success then it must be a scam (this is due to the false advertising people due claming you can make $1o,ooo your first month). It take time to get to that level and if you stick with it you will.
But to get to that level you really need the education. Most people who start a home based business really dont have the know how. I suggest you find one person who has the success you are looking to have and follow them. If you try to follow to many people (which is hard not to do when your email box is full of so called gurus) you eventually go in to many direction and make no money.
Hope this helps.

Very well put msibd. I find it really kind of entertaining that I'm being sold the idea of making millions by people that aren't even making dollars lol.
I definitely agree regarding education... Many people who turn to home based business are simply slackers in the 'real world' who are looking for easy money. Honestly, there is a lot easier money out there, but I'm very excited to get to the level where I no longer need to report to my labor job
Finding direction is the hardest part by far... the internet is wayyyy over-informative!
My best advice is to find something that works for you and really truly stick with it for months and months to see what happens.

Pick a topic you love and know quite a bit about and can write about for a couple years or more every day.
Write as if you're teaching yourself in a way you'd like to learn.
Nothing more to it.
Rid the net of junk by refusing to stray from this philosophy.

Newbie Shield,
I have a question. I am absolutely passionate about primitive decorating. I know a lot about it. I decorate this way. But the problem I have is, I don't know how to write. What would you suggest then?

Hi Becky,
You write wonderfully. Just write as you have been. Write similar to the way you speak.
That sounds like a great topic to write about and you might consider pursuing it.
