A lot of people think this is the easiest way to start in Internet Marketing. I came up with a list of pros and cons and was wondering what you all think:
Pros: - Easy to start in - Don't need a website - Low start up cost (could be free actually) - Can use free traffic generation techniques - Great commissions - You don't need your own product
Cons: - You need to learn more to become really successful - You probably need a website and autoresponder for long term profits - You only get part of the profits of the product you sell.
What do you all think. Is the really the best way to start out in the Internet Marketing world?

You sound like you have a good handle on it. In the beginning you can simply have Squidoo lenses and blogs, and then move on to building your own website.
In fact I think it is a good thing to start with the free stuff because you learn a lot as you get your brain wrapped around it all.
I think affiliate marketing is a great way to get started but I am sure everyone has their own opinions on that..... I DO know however, that it is best to simply GET STARTED..
Regardless if you go with affiliate marketing, network marketing, an mlm business or whatever it is - the internet marketing bit is where the learning curve is at.
Many folks procrastinate, saying that they just don't know where to get started when all it takes sometimes is the willingness to start with what you know.
Have you looked at the 30 Day Challenge stuff yet? It's a free and great way to get information and guidance.
Good luck!

Hi bertuseng,
It's second only to having your own product.
I've had my own product for over 12 years. It's been online for 11 years. I first created it for myself. It worked so well I sold it offline for a few months and then created a website.
But now I have also been doing affiliate marketing. I'm interested in many of the monetization models of online marketing. For me it's both a strong hobby and a biz.
Good luck,

You can make some really good money with affiliate marketing. Depending on your methods (bum marketing, Paid traffic) it can be a process that takes some time.
Having your own products can def. be more profitable, but it's always a good idea to do affilate stuff first if your starting out just so you can get a feel for what it takes to get a site profitable.

Hi Mainer64,
I don't know Cody Moya (for some reason the name sounds vaguely familiar)... But anything that I receive that says URGENT I avoid, I mean why would anything need to be done so urgently, except to fill the person selling it's pockets faster?!?
I would urge caution on that one.. Diane

There is a lot of skimming of commissions for affiliate marketing, so you have to be careful about the products you are selling.
