Hey, Im a full time college student in ireland and I cant work at the same time due to study/travel etc...
Anyway I need to find some sort of online flexable job, ive seen many ads on the net about data entry jobs etc... and I got scammed by a couple of them!! Desperation clouded my judgement!
I dont have anything to sell or anything like that, but are there any jobs I could get (fast) that could help, like advertising or something??
At this stage im really desperate for cash, im almost completly broke and its only the first month of college.
Any help greatly appreciated!!

When you search online for a work at home job, what
you will mostly find are home businesses which mostly
require a fee. An internet business and a work at home
job are two different things.
One way to find a work at home job is to actually contact
Jobs that are not work at home jobs and see if they are
in need of someone to do work at home.
The deal with most real work at home jobs is that many
of them will not advertise it. Another option would be
to get a a job that will allow you to work at home in
the future when they get to know you and how you work.
First you have to find out if they actually have people
working from home.
Once the companies gets to know you and trust you because
they know that you are an honest person, then they may
take you up on your offer to work at home.

I don't think you are going to make a lot of money fast. You might be able to make a little bit of money fast, but its going to take time and effort with anything you do online! Just so you know.

Most freelance writing jobs do not require a joining fee like other "data entry" jobs . Before you signup, do some research to check if they have paid others

Cherie27 touched on it. Online opportunities that have the potential to make you great cash flow involve starting a home business, not a job.
You need to walk before you can run. So try looking for the traditional type of employment then come and join the goodness of home based business success with the means to get started and the means to invest in marketing strategies for your success.
You can go the free marketing route but you need time commitment for that because online marketing is one big time commitment for massive traffic, and you need to establish an online presence.
There are some online marketing things you can do that are not as time consuming as others, such as forum marketing, but this can't be your only avenue for traffic to your site if you hope to be of any great success.

I would advise you to take some paid surveys. They don't require any skills, running websites or spending some time on reading stuff.
Just sign up for some free online survey sites and start taking them, the revenue is almost instant.
Try it!

Try to apply in odesk.com it is an online company that hired people to work at home. And I hope you will overcome your problem. You can do it. Just need a determination and patience.

I think that with most any job your going to have to put some time and effort into it before you really start to make decent money. So good luck on your search.

Searching for "fast money" on the internet can be a dangerous thing. You mentioned being scammed already because of your desperation, you're like blood in the water for online sharks looking to take advantage of those hoping to make a quick buck.

If you can write AT ALL...i suggest writing articles on Elance...there is ALWAYS somebody buying article writers on that site, and the cheap ones pay about $5 per article, but you can get about $10-$15 if you are decent...but to start off you would get $5 each...and there are many REGULARS on there...
put some "samples" of your article writing in your Elance online portfolio too, and when you email for a job bid...send them a PM (private message) and make it personal use their name, and attach your 3 BEST samples showing your range...if you have no articles yet, write some right now...and use that as your "portfolio". I know someone who made about $500 monthly doing that.
so if you have typing and creative writing skills, try that!!! Trust me, its a great way to get a lot of money quickly.

SheilaOcean: If you can write AT ALL...i suggest writing articles I don't know anything about Elance, but I do know people that are looking for article writers. If you're good at writing (boy, I wish I would have paid attention when I was in school), you can make some good money. But always remember to check ou the person/company you're planning to write for. Beware, there are a lot of scams out there.
