Working at home can be the most rewarding thing that you will ever do for yourself. And when you do find something that you're interested in, I encourage you to just take action right away and don't procrastinate.
It's so easy to make excuses as to why we shouldn't take the next step to start the process. We come up with so many different excuses as in: "I wonder if I can really do this?" And "what will my friends and family think of me?" " I don't have good computer skills!" Or "What if I fail?"
Most of these excuses stem simply from fear. Sometimes we're so afraid to start something that we really don't know much about. So we end up just scratching the whole idea!
A while ago I got over my fears by forcing myself to take action. No matter how insecure or unprepared I felt. Yes it was very uncomfortable at first because everything was new to me. But the more I kept pushing forward, the more confidence I gained. And you will too!
If you just start the process and keep with it you'll begin to acquire all the necessary skills you'll need for your work at home online business. And you'll gain a sense of confidence that you've never felt before. But you need to get over that initial hump of fear.
Get rid of all fear and take action. You owe it to yourself and to your family to step out of that fear zone and start the process to your success.

Good point Chaz. You can never learn swimming unless you take the dip. BUT, you need to have the basics covered before you take the dip. Like learning to hold your breath and move your arms and legs. I guess the same applies with working from home. Before you take the plunge, it's vital to make a thorough assessment of your skills, finances and time required to invest in your business.

That was an excellent post, Chaz. I agree don't procrastinate. You might lose out on something worthwhile.

Yes, you have to get started yourself. Many people are looking for instructions from others, they find it difficult to earn money

Ahhh...point well taken Vishal!
I think the most frustrating thing for me (and it's kind of what inspired this post) is that I have friend who actually has all of the necessary technical and personal skills to pursue a work at home business. But I can clearly see that fear and procrastination is holding him back in getting to that starting line.
So I just wanted to encourage those type of people to have a little faith in themselves and....well......just do it (as Nike would say).

Definitely an awesome point Chaz, procrastinating for the most part usually leads to missing out on some sort of opportunity, or not being able to gain as much as you would if you hadn't procrastinated. Unfortunately it is a bad habit a lot of people have!! I agree though, you need to put your fears aside and jump right in! Whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger!

I agree. The biggest thing that held me back was worrying about health insurance, etc. since I am a manager at a large commercial lines insurance for many years with a very good salary and lots of benefits.
Ironically I work more hours now at home LOL! But I love every single minute of it and have made so many good online friends and have found the company I am passionate about.
It is very hard though, I can certainly agree there!
