Is it true that companies like Walmart or Victoria Secret, or any company where you can order items online or from magazines actually hire people to process orders from home? I heard about it through a family member, but not sure how true it is.

That isn't transcription.
Are you talking about inbound phone sales? I've seen online jobs advertised for that.
