Do real, legal "work at home" opportunities actually exist where I don't pay a cent?

I've been just casually looking around at assorted companies that offer the chance to "work at home" part time or full time as your main source of income, and all I've found are the following:

- Gifting scams in which you give X amount of dollars to the person who referred you and you try to get others to do the same to you. Very much illegal.
- Companies that want you to sell their product, mainly a diet supplement, but I have to pay for the item before I buy it (I souldn't have to pay a cent to work, except for gas money and my lunch)
- Companies that are very vague on what they are selling and who to sell to.
- I have to buy their services before I can work with them.

I'm just looking around for something that I pay nothing, zip, $0, and I am employed, on a base pay (or base + commission, I ****ing hate jobs that offer just commission pay, or at least one where I don't have to jump through flaming hoops just to get paid), that I can work with. There must be a "work at home" company that does this. There must!

You can do transcription at home with no investment, other than some ear phones and a foot pedal, which is optional.

There are companies that hire general/legal transcriptionists with no training or experience.

There is also medical transcription, which I do, which requires schooling.

From personal experience I have earned money as a forum poster. I started forum posting when I couldn't find any jobs that didn't require some sort of investment.

Those companies may hire people to work from home, but some will have waiting lists or for the transcription jobs, they need you to have a 60 or 80+ typing speed, for the phone operators from home you need to pay to have a separate phone line dedicated to the job.

So during my hunt for work I can do at home without paying a penny....

Forum Posting
I found companies like Paid Posting Tools, Forum Shock, and Inb0x which are some of the top paying companies that really payout when you do work for them.

The one I've currently applied to is called Forum Booster, if you're interested in signing up click here. Oh be sure to sign up for a paypal account if you haven't already because that is what most companies will pay with.

Article Writing
If you can write at least 400 words on something you know about, then it is possible to make money from it. They will pay you $1.50 for every 1,000 people that read your article. When you have more than one and do some serious promoting, I imagine you can make some money from it.

HITS (Human Intelligence Task)
You perform tasks for a few cents to x amount of dollars depending on the task and the level of difficulty. Like I did a task the other day that involved making 3 posts on different forums to promote a product for $1.00.
Amazon Mechanical Turk

That's all I've really got for now... hope this helps you
