Fluctuation in PR of my Blog

Hello SEO Experts i need a help.

Some time my blog afair 6th on google search and some time 10th
Some time 11th

I have 120 Backlines.

While on ther hand my competer has only 17 Backlines and his blog is always on 5th on google search.

What is the problem with my blog.
Plz any one help me.why it is happening.
Why my blog PR is not stable

You can never outguess Google. Just keep promoting your site with quality content.

Its hard to say - it could be a number of different things - its not uncommon for Google to change their algorythm, so what is effective today for SEO rankings may not be effective tomorrow.

That's normal. It will do that for a while in the beginning until is settles. Be careful that you're not spamming keywords, either.

Have you checked the quality of his backlinks?
There are other factors as well.
-anchor text
-domain age
-relevancy
-time spent on site
-quality and keyword density of content
-Diggs
-and so much more...

Keep building links. Back links helps you get into your desired positions. But above all, content is the most important thing. Visitors will stay long or even comes back and forth if you have interesting, fresh and unique content.

It just happened that your competitors is doing their job well.. You don't get stable rankings on SERP. If you want to stay on top then you have to continue building links.
