Do I require insurance (and if so does anyone know how much I'm looking at) to cover me in case the product I am selling makes them sick, etc. Apparently the company is responsible if they sell directly to them but once I get the product from the company and "re-sale" it to make a commission. I am then liable. Any help?

So do you buy and resell or do they get directly from the company?

I never carried insurance but the company I am with covers that end of it. I am guessing most mlm companies are going to be covered for that and if not, you may want to look at something else.

You should have your company mail the product to your customers or leads.. that way you are not liable.

You should be able to review your company's policy online or contact them by phone about that. If it is not clear or seems vague then consider another company as mountainmom5 stated. Why would you think the product could make someone sick?
