Can someone help?
I have been writing blogs but none of them seem to appear on Google Blogs. I used Wordpress & Blogger.com.
Can someone tell me the secret of how to get them listed?
I have been following your advice on the forums, but it still doesn't appear to be working.
What is the secret?

Have you sent your blog to pingomatic.com or autopinger.com
Those are two things I usually do after a post to my blog.

You can also bookmark your bloggs at Digg.com, which should get you indexed.

write articles using the exact same keywords that you have on your blog and link back to your blog.
Write articles every day for awhile. If you just write one or two and throw them out there, you might never see any difference.
Oh, and set up a Squidoo lens, again, using the exact same keywords and link them all together.

Hi there,
Pinging won't do it for you Strapped. Many are optimizied to do that automatically anyway.
There are several things you can do. You can submit your blog to blog directories for one. Also, social bookmarking really increases your traffic as well.
I use 2 free sites to bookmark my posts. When you sign up you will have to sign up for many bookmarking sites at first. It's tedious but once you do it is done.
The 2 sites are www.onlywire.com and www.posttoaster.com
They are invaluable.

If you learn seo (backlinks and such)and how to properly use your keywords on your posts and articles it will help.

I actually use Twitter to promote both my Squidoo Lens AND my Blog, works very well!

I can find a couple of my older blogs but the newer ones are not registered anywhere. I have even searched using my blog name.
I am using wordpress and blogger and none of my recent blogs appear on the blog search. I even tried pinging them but it did not work yet the older ones I never pinged but they came up almost immediately. I tried to redo the recent ones without pinging them but it did not work.
I am finding this very frustrating can anyone please give me any advice?
Because they do not appear anywhere I cannot promote them it is like they don't exist.

The answer to your question regarding google indexing for blogs would be here. Yes Pingomatic is great too and definitely be writing articles throwing backlinks to your blogs, you'll get picked up much quicker because of some other sites PR that your linking to.
