Hey everyone I thought I'd come across the best way to market my business as I found a e-mail leads site called Leads4Free but all the e-mail addresses I sent info to bounced back, I wasted over 1 day sending out these e-mails only to have them bounce back so I was wanting to know where I might be able to get some e-mail leads that will actually work.

Hi Casper,

Sorry you had trouble with your leads. The best place to capture leads is on your own site via subscriber form.

You can check out a poll on the forum here to see which programs forum members prefer:

Good luck,

I did try using Aweber for a while but I found it really tricky to set up as I was with EDC for a few months & I had a unprofessional sponsor who didn't help me what so ever, I'm now with Bigcrumbs & OurGv so I use the template e-mails provided & I have just started to try my hand at blogging which I have not done before when it comes to promoting your business.

Newbie Shield is right - the best email leads are the ones you generate on your own - just remember that it takes time to build that list, but the beauty of it all is that it is your very own list and a huge asset to you, no matter what you do down the road...

Casper,

I have used rent-a-list.com (not an affiliate link) with some success with getting a list going. You can targeted e-mails and then if they sign up for your offer they are your leads to keep.

I'd personally suggest using purchased lists, as well as your own generated list. The only reason to bother with purchased lists is to convert them to opt-in subscribers; just make sure that you don't get your Internet service or website shut down. Use a third party system that allows you to import purchased leads.

Also, you might want a bit of experience with conversions before purchasing a list. It's a waste to have 50,000 emails when only 10,000 are deliverable, and out of that, only 1000 will even open the message... You need to be able to close the deal... Selling to a purchased list is the WORST thing you could do. Build a relationship and try to get them to subscribe to your other list (the one you're building on your own, as others have suggested). That's called "warming up" the "cold" list.

Anyway, as to lead sources, there are a lot, but I think national-leads.com is probably one of the best.
