what exactly are you doing?? Let us know:
1) what you are doing for advertising
2) what all you have done up to now to promote your sites
It will be easier to help you troubleshoot.

Well i have tried the website getref.com and it seems a bit fustrating to start off with. I have no clue on how to advertise my referal links since most forums dont allow this. So other then promoting to friends im really struggling to find refs. i would like to find the simplest way involving spreading the word on websites or forums plz any help would do.

xlilsoldi3rx, getref.com looks like a program that works only in the back alley of the internet. By that I mean traffic exchanges, safelists, and text ad exchanges.
If you are just starting, I suggest you don't waste a lot of time on promoting getref.com, especially that the back alley advertising is very time consuming with little, and sometimes no reward.
Instead go through this forum, you'll find other business models that make more sense and can make you more money.
