Hi Everybody!
For anyone who has started a new blog and can't wait for the spiders to crawl and index it, there is a quick and easy solution!
All that you have to do is subscribe to your own blog! It just takes one RSS feed subscription to ping Google and keep the spiders coming to you blog for updates.
I was waited for almost 2 weeks and Google still hadn't indexed the new post on one of my blogs, and hadn't crawled my newest blog ever!
I even tried Ping-o-Matic every day!
I subscribed to both of my blogs, added a new post on each, and they were both crawled sometime during the night while I slept (within 12 hours).
Try it out and see for yourself!
Cheers everyone!

You can also submit an article on your site to Digg.com - this can also give your page rank a boost since they are a high rated PR site linking back to you.

Hi Philip,
Now that's using your creativity :)
It pays to be solution oriented. Trying out original ideas is how engineers solve their problems. Most of my biggest breakthroughs have been from thinking outside of the box. Great indexing tip.

Good idea thanks for the tips. We all need the spiders to crawl our sites even though it sounds bad it's good. For those who don't know anything about IM they would probably think we're crazy, it's like a foreign language to them. Sonni

Just make a high PR website link to your blog and you will have it indexed in less time. For this you can use article marketing and social bookmarking websites. Had I solved your query,

Yeah Bart, let us know if it works for you. It's great to hear when an idea actually works for someone else besides yourself

PS. You should be able to place a link to your site or page on any PR5+ site. That'll get it indexed quickly. Spiders crawl PR5 sites quite frequently.

And here I was expecting a long drawn out article detailing highly complex and technically ideas posted in language that I can barely understand! Subscribe to your own blog, it doesn't get much simpler then that, now I just need to finish getting my blog set and start using it.

Wow, great tip. I as well expected some long sales pitch with little content, but you certainly delivered. Has anyone else had luck with this method yet?

I have 3 questions here,
1.How do you suscribe to a blog? I have had people try to suscribe but say they can't
2. What is a PR site?
3. What is Dig?
Sounds like these are things I need to know.

=== Subscribing to a blog means clicking on the RSS FEED button and saving the address to your RSS Reader This way you will get any updates to the site without having to actually visit it. But not all web pages have an rss feed.
2. What is a PR site?
=== Every sites has a pr. You can see it easily if you have a google bar installed in your browser. The higher the pr, the higher the importance that google has placed on the site. Therefore higher pr means that it has alot of traffic and backlinks and other seo stuff.
3. What is Dig?
=== Digg is a social bookmarking site like delicious, reddit, stumbleupon. etc.
With these responses ive given, you will have more questions. But now i've helped you to narrow down what you really need to know. You can now Find your answers by searching with google.

Answer question related to your niche on yahoo answer and link back to your site. The spiders will be at your site in no time at all.

I did the yahoo thing, but for some reason I got banned. All I did was answer. obviously ther was more to it than that though. Yahoo was giving me a good bit of traffic, but thats ok, I will move onto something else. Don't give up.

There is very simple trick to have it done but surprisingly many people do not do it. Here is how it works: 1. Go to Google Adwords Keyword Tool 2. Now do not search 1st method (Descriptive words or phrases) but go for 2nd option ( Website content) 3. Put your URL address and Google will go right away to crawl your blog. That's pretty simple, isn't it? Good Luck with your blog PR.
