We talk a lot about page rank here, but sometimes I think we might be talking about different things. Some people are just trying to get a PR at all, some are trying to get past 1 and some are trying to do something all together different.
So just in your opinion, for your own sites, what would you consider a "good" page rank to be?

Anything on the first page of Google would be good. On the first page of any engine should result in traffic. That does not always mean you will get unique hits or make sales. A lot of other factor are involved.

Page rank of 3 or higher and you are considered an authority in your niche. So I aim for a PR of 3 or higher

I think a PR3 is ok, a PR4 is good, and a PR5+ is great.
