One of the fastest ways to drive traffic to a new website is with google adwords - you know - those ads to the right on google search engine pages. You write your ad. create a list of keywords that you want to trigger that ad, and when people search using the keywords you selected your ad shows up. You pay per click. the trick is to get your clicks for a dime or nickle or less. If you're not careful, your clicks can cost 3 dollars a piece . do a google search for adwords. The key is using very targeted long-tail keyworks, i. e.
"how do I train my german shepard to sit" for example, if you are selling a dog training manual. There's a steep learning curve with google adwords but, if you are careful, it's the one of the quickest ways to earn some money with a website.

If you haven't used adwords before, i suggest if you do go down that road to find yourself a few free e books that explain how to use adwords. Even though you can set a limit for how much you spend, if you don't no how to write a good ad then that money is wasted.

I am not saying this isn't a great method for traffic because it can be but in the right hands

I would say once you have setup your website and you have dedicated time for it........the best thing to do is write and submit article after submitting to search engines and directories most of them are free but consume a lot of time.

By the way Newbie Shield your traffic generation method is awesome.
Thank you. "its like all in one"

All the best to you.
