If you do a google search you will come up with a bunch of them.

I know a few people who really like freewebs.com - most of the free services will have a paid upgrade option if you don't want all the ads coming up.

I do know that webon is free, with no ads, and also very easy to use if you are looking for something simple. It doesn't have all the features some of the other sites offer though.

Hope that helps!

I love freewebs

They have a free option but if you don't want the ads popping up, you will need to pay the $1.69 a month or something like that. I know I paid about 16 bucks for a year to have mine ad free.

You can do a lot with it - if you want to track your traffic on it, there is an option to do that as well.

I know what you are talking about! I actually had the free one for awhile myself - it helped me get familiar with how those things work...good luck

weebly.com is a good choice for getting started. They even have a free online site builder you can use that is pretty easy. I've used them for landing pages before. Additionally, when you decide to move to a different host, you can download your website in zip file format for uploading to your other host.

I use hostsnake.com and have not had any problems whatsoever. No ads at all, and they give you all the bandwidth you could possibly need....
