Why doesn't ASD have it set up, so people can put money in through credit card right now?
I mean, I was talking to some refferals, and possible refferals, and the fact that you have to wait a couple of weeks for it to show up is frustrating...
What do you think the plans ASD has to make this more convinient and easier for people?
By the way, what does STP stand for? Is that the same thing as wiring money, or something else, I don't understand what it is.

bluedog24,

STP stands for SolidTrustPay which is a payment processor like AlertPay.

I can't answer the ASD question about the credit card though.

Does Solidtrustpay charge a fee and how long does it generally take to go through, and can you do do it by credit card?

Blue,

Credit Cards will be allowed at the Upcoming Miami Rally...so my guess is that it is heading in that direction...

The Other Solution to established ASD Members is the Upcoming Debit Card...

Solid Trust Pay - https://solidtrustpay.com/

This is a payprocessor, like Alert Pay or Pay Pal (which cannot be used by ASD as it is against their TAU - like most surf sites)

STP can be funded from the bank in the US and by credit card internationally - but this second option is a little expensive!

No not yet.

Wait until we are told and then the procedures will also be set up.

It is not available yet.

Cash out by Alert Pay will still continue - but AFTER 31ST JULy we cannot pay using Alert pay.

Okay, so let me get this straight...
As of today, and until July 31st, the only 2 ways to put cash in are by wiring money from a bank(which has like a 15 dollar fee along with it), and alertpay(which I'm guessing is not done by credit card, maybe you can fill me in on that).
The reason I ask, is because I have someone that wants to put in money before the rally this Saturday, to see how it all works, and wants it to be there ASAP. Is there any form of pay that could make the money arrive in that short amount of time?
Please be clear here, it's really important to me...

You coul mail in the Cashiers Check but that will take a few weeks to get credited.

In the past, Wiring the money in will get the account credited the next day ASSUMING ASD receives the FAX information that goes along with it.

These days...you can pray your fax gets through to them so there is no guarantee that the money will get credited unless you have a successful fax

A money order and a fax sent with the recipt and confirmation that it has been signd for - from the onine tracker firmly copy pasted to the fax also seems to work -

But write clearly please. and put your ASD number and name etc

Beleive it or not, I'm still not clear...
Please just tell me the available paying options that are being offered...
And if possible, can credit cards be used along any of these paying options?

Credit Cards CANNOT be used.

The reason Credit Cards cannot be used was that people would buy Ad Packages with their credit cards, then have Buyer's Remorse then call their Credit Card the next day to Put a Stop on the Purchase...which screws up ASD's paperwork requiring more time to reverse stuff...

At the Miami Rally I think they are allowing Credit Card purchases with a Consent Form that needs to be signed by the Credit Card User stating ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS.

I don't understand. How is going from Alertpay to Solid Trust Pay going to be any different? Most people have an Alertpay account and now of course ASD is phasing them out instead of fixing the issues which seems to me should not be that hard to do. I use them as a payprocessor on my sites and am paid instantly and vice versa when I use them to pay on other websites as well. ASD is the only program I have seen that this doesn't happen. So if they can't automate Alertpay with ASD how are they going to be able to automate Solid Trust Pay? Plus hardly anyone has even heard of STP until recently, so their can't be too many people that has an account with them or even may want one for that matter.

As far as I can see (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the only available options is going to be cash balance, wire transfer and STP until they get the debit card. They no longer accept checks and they are phasing out the direct deposit and Alertpay July 31. I would think if you have a valid credit card on your STP account, how would ASD know if you funded your STP account with it to pay ASD?

Bluedog,

Just got this info from another ASD forum and remembered your requests.

"Overnight delivery is the Fastest way you can get your money into ASD for ad package purchases...Mail your cashier's check or money order along with ALL needed info for a speedy transaction: your name, email, phone number, member ID., instructions of which account you want your money in (Spanish or English) and your sponsor information (member ID., name email etc). Your order will get processed there and then when they open your mail...all they have to do is open your account to put it directly in."

Not my words, theirs.

Also keep in mind that STP (solid trust pay) does charge a fee. So if you are looking to deposit money and don't want to pay a fee your only option really would be a money order or cashiers check. It take longer than paying with STP but atleast you would not have to pay a fee.....
