Hey,, Whats the world comming to?

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A woman advertised on the popular Internet site Craigslist for an assassin to kill the wife of a man with whom she'd had an affair, authorities said Saturday.

The ad by Ann Marie Linscott, 49, was posted in November as a generic request for somebody to perform a "freelance" job, court documents said. Her true intention was communicated only to those who e-mailed her seeking additional information about the job, the Craigslist CEO said.

Linscott offered $5,000 for the hit, had the name and work address of the woman she wanted dead, and described successful candidates as "silent assassins," according to agents and court documents.

That doesn't surprise me. What does surprise me is that the woman didn't expect to get caught. How stupid can she be?

I also heard a story on the news about a woman who fired an employee and then the woman started getting constant phone calls from people all over the country asking for sex. Day after day and night after night. It was driving her crazy and she suspected that the ex-employee might have had something to do with it. Upon further investigation, she discovered that the ex-employee had put a very erotic and provocative post on Craig's List with the woman's home phone number. Of course the woman called the police at that point and she also contacted Craig's List and told them to remove the post immediately. The police arrested the ex-employee, but I'm sure it was probably just a slap on the wrist.

That just goes to show how Craig's List can be used as a weapon of revenge if it falls into the wrong hands. What is this world coming to?

Unfortunately, there are a lot of psycho people in this world. There is also a scam spam email now that is supposedly from an assasin who has been hired to kill you, but won't if you give them $8,000 dollars. Sad, isn't it?
