A "push mower"......what's THAT?!

LOL, I guess I'm one of those kids in the neighborhood. Seriously though, that is a good idea. Any way to save money on gas is a good thing.

Gosh, I haven't seen a push mower in action for years! When I was in the Boy Scouts, my troop had one.

A push mower is a manual mower (ie no motor) with the blades arranged in a sort of a circle.

Kind of operates on a similar design to a cheese grater, but with straight blades across rather than with holes.

When you have tall grass, it can be much more effective than a regular mower, but either way, it's a lot of work! Hey, with gas prices like they are... Maybe I need to find one

That is so good! I declare I am going to get a horse and buggy soon.

Only problem with that is oats and hay are sky high, too, right now - LOL
