Wow, I've been skimmng through the posts here and it seems that you have all left the CSG. I left some time ago after 6 months with not one sale and am now considering promoting my Coastal business again. I'd be glad of some advice as I know you are all successful directors....goodness knows I heard all your names enough on Q&A's and Globals.

I left the CSG and completely quit promoting Coastal because I had literally no success...funny, in the last week that I worked the business I had three prospects who I had not heard from for months call me but they have probably gone on to someone else at this point.

I know that Coastal can bring great success and I just feel that it is still right for me, even after all the failure I had at first.

I am also wondering, I still have to pass up my first two sales to my director with the CSG but since I would be using a different system than her...how would that work? My prospects that I passed on to her would have no knowledge of the system that she uses.

I also still have names, emails, phone#'s, etc. from several prospects who I spoke extensively with when I was with the CSG....would you all recommend I contact them again if I decide to go ahead with this and explain that I am using a different system, etc.?

Any advice you can give me (other members are obviously welcome to answer as well) would be greatly appreciated as I consider my options. Advice on systems would be appreciated as well as there are so many out there...I am looking for something cost effective and am considering the possibility of using a call center as well.

Thanks,
Hannah

Hi Hannah,

Sounds like your best bet would be to go with the official coastal sites and training. The monthly price would probably be less than the CSG system and you will have access to training and conference calls, as would anyone you introduce to the business. You can position yourself as a COASTAL representative, not CSG. That way you separate yourself from the group but continue to be associated with COASTAL.

I agree with Noreen. I just switched to the official Coastal system and I love it.

Hi Hannah,

The shipping center recommends that you send a note to them so they can connect you to your upline director. I'm assuming that your upline director is also a CSG person, which would make it kinda tough to move in that direction.

There are alot of great directors you can work with here are a few helpful tips:

1) Don't buy another Coastal Membership.

2) Get your information from the source - the Coastal Board of Directors continue to bring us unique and valuable information.

3) Make sure you get a GREAT value for your leads. Paying $5+ for leads is WAY above retail. I use 66 cent leads and buy over 600 per month.

4) Attend the Official Coastal Events. The Coastal Board of Directors work hard to bring us the best options for marketing and support....new vacations are announced and given out at the Official Coastal Events.

If I can help you further - Call me.

Very interesting that alot of the information that was available on my CSG MAC system is available on a website that I was never told anything about....and for free. Thanks for the info guys. I have some things to think about and we'll see where my thinking takes me.
