I was wondering if anything was said about what happened or didn't happen at the Vegas conference.

Hi Sportsnut,

I am not sure what you are talking about? From what I heard the BOD did not mention Funtime at all. I just heard about the new disney vacations and a new card. Is the new card what you are refering to? I also didn't hear from anyone about a new travel agent program except Joystar which is separate from Funtime. Please explain.

Thank you,
Susan

Sportsnut,
when you say your team has increased by 20 in the last couple of months, do you mean 20 Coastal members or 20 Funtime members?

I have a question I asked in another thread but it got lost in the shuffle. I think it is an important point so I hope to get an answer. Maybe this is a better place for it any way.

It was my understanding that the BOD uses around 60 different vendors for their vacations. And each vacation is serviced by about 5 vendors, so if you send in a voucher, the shipping center rotates through vendors. I don't have any vouchers that are vendor specific. I also know that your can request vendors if you have a good relationship with a travel agent, and conversly if you did not care for a particular vendor, you can send in a complaint. That way, the BOD can terminate relationships with travel agents if necessary. Is this not the case? My impression has always been that the BOD did not want to lock on to one particualr vendor. All those vacations above can be serviced by different vnedors right? The cards are a different story, but can someone explain the unlimited travel services card? Is this a funtime membership card?

Thank you.

What are you sorry about? I would love to hear exactly what the card is all about. Since I do own it. What are the options and what are the commissions you talk about?

As matter of fact, I never even got the inteletravel card so I have nothing to turn in to get the new card. Wonder if that is a problem?

Is their anyway to view the list of all of the vendors? For example I have a vendor that I dont particularly like, but I dont know who else honors the vacation. It would be ridiculous if you had to purchase the same vacation multiple times, just to see who the glossy comes from! Is this information that I could request from the shipping center? Thanks.

Noreen,
just mail a self addressed stamped envelope to the shipping center with your coastal member number and tell them you want all of the new stuff and they will send it to you.

Brandon,
just send they one you have and don't like back to the shipping center and tell them you want a different vendor and they should send you another one at no charge.

The problem is that I have already sent in for the vacation. I sent in my deposit and they could not accomodate me. They explained that I can request a refund in writing and they will refund the money I paid them. However, now I have nothing to turn back into the shipping center and I am out $20.00 for the activation of a cert. that I didnt use!

Noreen,
I was on the product call with Stephanie yesterday and she is a member of Joystar
The information for this program is on the back of your Coastal Agent Card with their web address.
Some Coastal directors are members of Inteletravel.
Now Funtime offers a travel agent card also.
All of these vendors have programs you may join if you want but it is not necessary. We just need to look at all options from different vendors and decide if what they offer us is beneficial to our business.

Hope this helps,
Cindy

Thank you very much. That is what I thought, but previous posts seem to indicate it is included in the package. So actually, it is there, but it is another program, not included in our Coastal membership. I appreciate the info. I have got to get on those product calls!
