Roberto, Coastal Vacations members are not technically "agents" as some people think. We are all just members of Coastal Vacations and we are independant business owners. Now, we do have the option of becoming actual certified Travel Agents if we wish but that is not automatic when we join Coastal Vacations. There is no customer service number to call for things like that. You could ask her for references or ask her for her upline director's number and call them.

Hi Roberto,
The best way to get to know her would be to spend some time with her on the phone. Attend a few conference calls.

My advice would be to check if they use this forum -you can use the search feature for that. If she has a website which is part of one of the groups mentioned that is a good thing as she is hopefully getting the support she needs to grow her business.
I have seen some advertising on the web re buying releases and not necessarily the product and there was someone that came into this forum and was "scammed" that way. Almost every Coastal person has to give their first two sales at the level they came in to their upline Director. This will release them so that they can then start earning the commssions at that level themselves. On occasion a successful director might help you with getting your releases by giving you their sales as an incentive to join and I believe that is O.K. to do. This is usually a one time special and not an everyday occurrence.
Anyways, welcome to the forum. You will learn a lot on here. My advice would be to figure out how you will be advertising your business and what your marketing budget will be before you join but this is a great place to ask questions and to find answers from previous posts.
Where are you from Roberto? I live in Ontario, Canada and we are enjoying a beautiful fall with all the changing leaves.
BTW it's great to see you back on the forum Sean, did you take any of our great vacations in your time away from us you want to share?
Judy

Welcome to Coastal Roberto. You will find many excellent directors on this forum. My first thought would be for you to go to the website of the person that introduced you to Coastal. When you go on their site be sure to read over the Coastal Profile. If by any chance you dont have a site to go to then go to officialcoastaltraining(dot)com then click on "business and product training" then on "detailed product overview". I send you to that site as there are many groups in Coastal all with their great merits but this site is made by the association that created the Coastal Package itself. You will get the info right from the horses mouth. You can also get more business info about Coastal by going to a live conference call @ 10pm est. If you click on calendar on the same webpages you will see the schedule.
Now you really should get back to the director that first showed you Coastal but in the event you dont have one please feel free to browse the forum and talk to the many directors here. All of us including myself are able to help you if you dont already have a director.
Good Luck in your research.
