Hi Carole

Did WCYS design your website :

Hi Terri,
Hi Terri,
My WCYS site is different (it's called BestCoastalCallCenter)
The site I have listed here was designed by
AlpsSoftware - they are very affordable - it's a new site
I'd love to have your feedback - what do you think of it?

If you would like to contact them - look up their site on the web
and send an email to Naveen Gorky (he's in India)
and mention me- Carole Gardner - so he'll know
how you found him - He also does the SEO
Have a great day!

Carole

I too still have my CSG site and Global theater to support my team.
But I now have the wecloseyoursales site

Shh.....Carole, don't let the CSG know as they do not want people from the call center to use their system.

Hi Jay,
Thanks for the response - I understand. I love the CSG - they are wonderful - the leaders are great - but like Adam - I wanted to go to new levels.
I have both systems -at this point - but I do not mix them - I don't cofuse my Call center prospects with anything regarding the CSG and I don't direct them there - I'm just keeping the CSG site going to support my team that's established. I care deeply about helping my team members.
Have an Awesome and Blessed day,
Carole

CAROLE

Do you and your son race cars? Professionally?
Who's your sponsors?

My son is an avid fan, he is going to Indianapolis for the race next weekend. He said there will be international drivers.

Hi Terri,
We are big race fans. My Son is a HUGE Fan - he almost made it on the Speed Roadtour Challenge show that was just out for the first 13 NASCAR races- have you heard of it? He got to the finals. I drove that car at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte at the Richard Petty Driving Experience - it was the most FUN thing I've ever done in my life!
You and your son would Love it - There's several race schools where you can drive real race cars on real tracks. I wish I could do it every day.

Time to be a free agent. I ended my tenure with the CSG Leadership a few months back and in the next month I am closing my CSG MAC system. For me its time to go back to basics. While I will continue to make my own websites to create my own niche in the marketing arena I will also be going back to basics. I believe having the "official " Coastal site is a must for us all. Why do I say that. Well with it you get the info from the proverbial horses mouth. No watered down solutions and answers as I have seen happen in the past. Coastal makes the package so im aligning myself with them. I will not be using someone elses shipping center but rather the official BOD shipping center at NB Management. Now thats not to say you cant buy in bulk and send out your own marketing as many groups do but id rather give them the whole story instead of my spin on things. In the past years I have skipped the BOD events but never again. I want to be where the action is and in my opinion the day of the CSG is done. I have been on the inside for 2 years now and to be honest I dont like the direction they are going as an organization. Now that is not to bad mouth them by any means. I did very well with them. Its just time for a change and after their fiasco in Florida when many CSG members walked out on a speaker at the BOD event (im glad I wasnt there) I truly want to keep my distance. I wish the CSG all the best and I will miss a bunch of my friends but im glad many have followed me in my new ventures. In my opinion the CSG is on the way out. Hey have you guys seen the new CEM movie lead ad campaign where Nitsa Nakos comes on the advertisement. I for one am not a fan of it. For all of you new members out there think about how easy it is for when they see the lead advertisment and then see Nitsa that they will google Nitsa and Coastal and find her contact info. I know if I was researching Coastal I would. Sounds like a good way to steer customers directly to you. HMMM I wonder if I could get in with CEM and do that? Sounds like a plan. Well thats my first "Inside Scoop on the CSG" today. I know you guys are looking for more juicy stuff but legal documents keep me from saying all I know so I keep it civil in here. See you all soon.

Yea...I'm a big Nascar fan and did watch a few shows. Where do you think Dale Jr. Will go? I think he'll simply put together his own partnership.

I was really disappointed to find that the CSG didn't do an update after the March event. I was spending the week in California and was not available to attend this event. I was also disappointed that the BOD asked Jeff not to do a podcast. Again...Politics.

I run a shipping center for my team to guarantee them the best service possible when they sell a membership. Should the CSG ever do a shipping center my concern would be that they would be pulling good information from the membership.

On one hand the BOD wants everything to be inhouse, YET...now there's a FunTime partnership....hmmm

Well, we'll all have a better idea tomorrow.

Carole,
I really like your website. I just joined with WCYS and wanted to design something that would give the prospect more information and not just the page to fill out info on so you have given me some great ideas. I might be calling Naveen too because I need to make my first two sales soon to be released!
One thing though -you have a spelling error around your piture (If I remember it is the word business -you might want to fix it)

Well as the CV seminar is a day away and we await all the great announcements we must anticipate the upcoming CSG event. Many are scheduled to attend and there should be fireworks. Alot has been mentioned in the last days about a new exciting mortgage program. I cant wait to see what it has to offer. Im also curious how members are going to learn to market another product so different than the travel package. Only time will tell if this is a good idea or something that maybe should have been done separately. As an entrepreneur im always looking for new business ventures. The trick is juggling where to focus and how to separate them so they never affect each other negatively. Only time will tell on this one. As things stand I wont be at the CSG event but you never know I might just pop in to say hi. I will be greatly represented as many of my friends and associates will be there. With the pot stirring and so much speculation going around I cant wait to hear how the event goes. This is the first big event to go on since I have left the CSG Leadership so I wish them the best.

I would love to hear any ideas you guys have about the direction of the CSG and how it impacts on the rest of us here in Coastal Vacations. Lets see what everyone thinks.

You already know that a mortgage is no where near as motivating as a vacation. Second...We're talking about peoples $$ and their Home. Which equals ALOT of caution. At $3500, it's going to be a real easy sale

Personally, I see this as yet another nail in the coffin. When you confuse people with alot of training and then add products and you HYPE, HYPE, HYPE....You're gonna begin to confuse your market place. I've taken 3 calls today from team members who wanted to know what all the BS is about. LOL...it's been said before - No knock off Group of Coastal Directors have ever lasted and now I know why.

Where is the CSG going? What is their direction? Where do they fit into Coastal Vacations? As now the CSG has begun to market their own "travel packages" with the new retail product how does this impact the home based arena? These are very serious questions. Many of us joined Coastal to market an amazing travel package. The package through Coastal hasnt changed much since its start other than to get better. But through it all it has been about a travel package. Now the CSG has started alot of training, selling training materials and other programs. Training is important but in my opinion I am tired of being nickel and dimed for more and more training. As team members struggle to just pay their marketing expenses ($150 for a website and upwards of $400 a month on leads) I for one cant see how paying now for your own Global Theater or the marketing material of their "Lifestyle Coaches" helps.

I will give you a scenario that is very true. I in addtion to marketing my business offer coaching to home based business owners. Im qualified as I have been in the home based arena for 20 years now and do it full time. In addition I have been working various jobs before I became full time in the home based business arena ( I was the sales manager of various large corporations as well as being in law enforcement for 5 years). This gives me a well rounded work experience. Well a client of mine has been coached by a few of the "Lifestyle Coaches" and let me know that my training gave them more real practical training then they got from all of the other coaches. The other coaches only taught them theory. The goal in teaching theory is so the people must come back for more training. Thats to line their pockets. My clients get 8 sessions in a months time and everyone has seen their business and lifestyle soar afterwards. I call it one and done. When they have that success they always refer other clients and now I have a waiting list. Thats what training is for to get people to the next level. When those of you that graduated college went to get a job you were trained in your field. Yes you might have to get additional training as the industry you are in changed of course but you were able to compete as you had what you needed. Thats not what the CSG is doing. They want you back more and more to line their pockets. It's unfortunate but its the way things are.

I think the CSG has missed the boat. Their philosophies are great but they dont practice what they preach. All of us need each of us should really be we need you to line our pockets and if you dont make it its because you need more training.

Stay tuned to this thread and other post I will be writing as I believe the CSG has signed their own death warrant. I wouldnt be surprised if the Co-Founders have gotten enough of our money to start their next venture. Stay tuned as I will be giving updates in the coming week.

Adam I think you answered your own question.

Think of this, CSG owners did a brilliant marketing strategy,
they first got Coastal members to sign up under the guise of training to sell Coastal, once they had your name and your team member names they than branched out on their own with yet another "vacation package" to who are they advertising this new "package" to? To Coastal Directors who already are interested in selling travel. Get it?

Does this make it right? NO! But sneaky brilliant just the same.
And that's what Al was referring to when he said that some groups want your's and your team members names to market to.

But again give Coastal business people some credit, they will either fall for the ploy and buy in or not. They aren't forced to buy into another opp.

Each person should evaluate what direction they want their business to take.

"Lifestyle Coaches" are another name for marketing guru's in some cases.

Be careful of who you entrust your business with.

There are some "lifestyle coaches" who's best interest is not YOU but lining their pockets.

And that doesn't refer to just CSG!

Why CSG is being singled out to badmouth I have no idea, there are other peole and groups who are just as bad, so what's the motivation to single out just one?
Just ASKING.

I am NOT defending CSG at all so don't get me wrong just questioning some people's motives! (you should to)

Nicole, my Daughter is one of the best " lifestyle "coaches, but for marketing advice I would use a marketing coach, a coach who isn't there to just offer things to buy or to have you sign with them but will recommend tools and systems to help you to succeed.

A good coach is there to motivate and support along with selling tools and systems. For example Dani Johnson offers sales aids and she recommends how to use those sales aids. Her coaching on Faith was one of the best I ever heard.

There is a marketing coach who is a "certified" coach, what does that mean? That she will sell you a bunch of stuff
She happened to be with another business not CV so I will not mention her name, but one has to ask where does the coaching come in if they are selling websites, autoresponders, etc.

Bottom line is to make certain that when they say they are a coach get a detailed list of what they mean by coaching.

I didn't use a Coastal voucher this time for our trip to Vegas, I utilized Joystar as I am a Travel agent with Joystar. And boy did it come in handy being a TA this time in Vegas, we were standing in line with about several hundred other people waiting to check in for our return flight, it was on the redeye flight leaving at midnight and arriving at 4am in TX, we were talking to a porter and I mentioned being a TA as we were just chatting with him, he said wait here a minute, he came back and sent us up to a agent at the desk who informs us that our flight has been cancelled because of a Pilot strike, BUT she will pay for our hotel room in Vegas and she will upgrade us to first class seats on a 4pm flight the following day.
We took her up on the offer and than unfortunately our flight was reinstated so we left on the midnight flight.

Thanks Terri! I have been listening to some of Dani Johnson's recorded calls and was thinking of purchasing some of her tools. It is hard to find any of these "coaches" that are not trying to sell you something after something after something that you "must" have to be successful.

So you became a TA with the CV card? Do you have to pay a monthly fee? Just curious. Contemplating signing up for that myself!

Thanks again!

I am a HUGE Dani fan...but make no mistake, she makes a significant amount of money selling her products (including leads).
