one more thing ... when I searched for Coastal vacations on bbb, it said it has an unsatisfactory record. website address they gave was missjessica.winningwithcoastals.com. additionally, thye said that in order to prove their claim that people earn $1000 - $9000 bbb asked them to provide some evidence which they did not.

sairashab,
The call center can take your prospects calls and call those who have requested a call about Coastal Vacations. You are responsible for marketing and advertising your business.
Hope this helps!

Hi Sairashab,
When doing research about Coastal on the BBB (or anywhere else, for that matter) it is important to know that the rating you see is attached to *one* independent business owner within the Coastal association.
So, the case you mention above is for just one person who may not run her business as she should. I state "may" because I don't know anything about her and there could be another side to the story that is not shown in your post.
This is why it is important to work with a Director (or a Center) that you have faith in. If you are looking into Coastal, investigate all your options so that you will be standing on firm ground for training and support.

Thank you. after coming to this forum I really think it is a genuine business, but it just concerned me. Thanks for your reply. Actually, I am kinda coward; I don't wanna get into any trouble. So I just wanted to make sure everything is fine and that it is legal. Thanks a lot.

Saira,
You're welcome And since you mentioned that you want to be sure that everything is "legal", I encourage you to be sure that you follow the applicable statutes for doing businesss where you live.
If you're an American, the state you live in should have the information that you need on the state website or through the local Chamber of Commerce.
This may sound scary, but really it is usually only a matter of obtaining a business and sales license by paying a small fee.

Saira,
Your director should be there with you to help you out on all kinds of things in the beginning, so make sure you hook up with someone you feel comfortable with.
You also had a question about the call center. What they do is take calls for you, explain the business and do all the follow up. They also take care of shipping all of your packages out for you so you don't have to worry it. You would do the marketing and advertising. There is a bunch of training on that. For a monthly fee, you get a personalized website, back office contact management, recorded training, advertising resources and a bunch of other stuff. We also have live training calls every week. So as you can see, it is a real, legit, viable business.

It is $49.95 per month for the marketing system and members back office. That is lower than what other groups offer and it is also lower than the Board of Directors sites. This includes your opt in pages, auto responders, and the other things I mentioned. If you take a look at my site, you will see the demo site and just what you get for that monthly fee.

The question was asked on Page 1...
"why do we need to work with a call center?"
In our research, we see that 90% of people who join any kind of home business do not know how to sell and most don't last long enough to learn the specific techniques and closing skills to make it work for them.
This goes for ANY home based business.
Another thing we found out is people hate to ask for the money, when it is something they have never done.
plus, we found brand new people, might not know a lot about the product which holds them back from trying to go out and talk about it.
Another cool thing we discovered was that many people are simply busy living, traveling, working and cannot manage their follow up properly cause of a hectic life.
So..... The Coastal Sales Center was born to help these types of people by doing the busy work, explaining the product, and who is specificly and professionally trained to lead people down the sales process for you.
I can tell you my income doubled when I started using the sales center, as opposed to doing all the work like I was on my own.
I don't personally need any help with closing deals, cause I have built up my sales skills over the years and have no probs doing it on my own, but I found it takes months and years to tool someone up with the skills set I have, so the call center makes it easier for people just coming in, knowing they only need to focus onthe marketing and advertising.
Marketing and advertising are the other hard part of the business for sure, and if we could come up with a call center doing all that for us, to generate a lead.. well... I suppose we'd be in heaven.
Now I know that there are hardcore people in Coastal, not using sales centers and they think people need to be like them and do it the hard way and pay their dues, and spend hours in training schools and lots of money at seminars to finally get them knowledge and proficiency to be able to do what they took the time to learn how to do...
But...
Alas... Humans are humans, this model is simply more attractive and it does create successful people who make money without selling, asking for the money or having to walk around your life with a cell phone glued to your ear all day and get ear cancer.
this is not a recuiting site for anyone, but a general info site, it is generic, where one can learn about the Offical Coastal Sales Center.
coastal sales center dot com is the site. Type it in with no spaces, and you'll how it all works.
There is a definite market for traditional coastal where people join and do all the work and work as a team helping everyone like the CSG's, CWB's and DFI's, etc. They are great programs and systems for this type of candidate. No probs here....
But for the types of people I mentioned above, a sales center option might really get a spark going.
When I tell people there is no selling, I mean it, and they really perk up. They listen more closely and they do their research to prove me wrong.
Since the call center asks for they money, collects it and sends it out to you when they close your deal, you'll never sell anything or have to do that. Over time, if you want to close your own deals, as you learn and get specific training, you can do that too.
Just my thoughts on the subject, since you asked.
Jeff

That was an OUTSTANDING description of how it all works, Jeff! Before I joined your team, I researched several others such as Britt Phillips, Jay Napier, CSG, and a couple of others I can't even remember but I did my due diligence and it payed off as is obvious just in the membership of this forum in this area. Many of my members are right here adding thier expertise and making sales of their own because they came here and found out about coastal and the call center. There are other great people here like Annette and Maria who are VERY successful and it goes to show that there are lots of ways to do Coastal and we just offer another way for people who aren't comfortable with selling a way to be successful. When I started with the WCYS Call center and Jeff, I didn't want to do any selling but now that I am successful in this business I LOVE talking to people about Coastal and the call center! And you know what, they are still making sales for me and my team. No matter what teams you use, and yes, you can belong to more than one if you want to, the key is to dive in and WORK THE BUSINESS. If you aren't motivated to be successful you WILL NOT SUCCEED, no matter what team you are on, including the call center. I want my team members to be happy and productive and you can't be one without the other.
