Hello All,

I quick question for fellow Canadians as to how you manage our lovely GST tax when selling the packages?

Thanks so much,

I use the call centre who takes care of all the payments and shipping for me. I guess because the product ships out of the U.S. and they charge Canadians a lot more to ship it that they pay for the G.S.T. at the border but I could be wrong.
Anyone else charge G.S.T. ?

Im sorry that it took so long for me to post a response here ... I am in Canada and this is what my tax professional has told me. I do not have to get a gst number or charge/submit gst untill I have reached 30,000 in sales to Canadians. I always advise my associates to check with their own tax pro and I would encourage you to do the same.
I can make myself available if I can help you further.
I love linking up with fellow Canadians.

Yes.. Sean and Aviva.. you are right- I'm in Canada and I was told the very same!

As most of my team is down in the USA, I don't have to worry about GST. My understanding is however that when making a transaction in your own province, regardless of earnings- you MUST charge and submit PST.

Again, you are right- check with your local accountant. That is what professionals are for!
