I didn't make it to the event due to a death in the family (thanks to all those who sent their prayers and thoughts)

It does appear that AS EXPECTED....Selling STUFF was in the air. A fundraising package, A B2B package, training cds and VACATION VOUCHERS are now for sale through the Coastal Synergy Group.

I'm still getting updates from the event, but I can tell you I'm glad I didn't go, as these new products that the csg is selling will just confuse and complicate the process of keeping the training process simple.

Here's a tidbit of information to help you with your business. KISS....Keep It Simple Sweeetheart!!

First off Jay our prayers are with you buddy. I didnt attend the seminar as well but had a bunch of friends and team mates there. From what I gather the CSG has taken a different turn than when I first joined with them. In my opinion they are getting away from the Coastal package. They have many programs out there and their new retail push look alot like what I have in my FTV Club business without all of the meat. I applaud them for thinking out of the box a bit as thats why I left the leadership for them not being as forward thinking as I would like. If I had a time machine one of my first stops would be to a CSG in a few months to see where they end up. I wish them all the best but as their focus has really gotten away from Coastal im glad I made the decision to leave the CSG.

hello Jay

the "stuff" that CSG is selling...have they been developed by CSG or are they official coastal marketing tools?

The reason why I ask this is because I hear that few CSG members turn up for the official seminars as they hold their own?

Am I off base?

cheers
Maria

Hi Maria,

The "stuff" I've refered to are CD Training Programs, Fundraising training and packages, Business 2 Business Training and Packages, seminars and the like.

What really makes this a crime is that the folks putting these tools together are not people who are making a living selling Coastal memberships for Fundraising and selling Coastal Membership to Business owners.

Even worse, the they are selling non-Coastal Certificates as well.

This bahavior is not condoned by the Coastal Board of Directors. I smell a separation coming soon.

As Jay talks about the CSG the same questions come up in my head. Now other opportunities selling vacation vouchers like FTV Club seems right but if the CSG is a Coastal entity then how and more importantly why are they selling certs as that is not a BOD policy. It does smell like a separation to me. The CSG seems to be focused these days on marketing the products of the lifestyle coaches as well as other opportunities. Something is amidst. I cant wait to see where this leads to. If any of the CSG members care to explain esp if you were in Vegas I know we are all open to hear the skinny. Im just glad im leaving the CSG this month and have already begun my system with the Official Coastal BOD. Only time will tell what is going to happen. Cant wait to see.

Hey Adam,

Your not the only one moving to the Official Coastal System. I've made alot of friends in Coastal over the years and ALL BUT the CSG have stayed connected to the Official Coastal System in some way.

As I see it, someone - or, some group is getting some REALLY bad advice and I can tell you that they'll be the ones who are sorry.
