Hi I have been reading all the posts on this site and they are really great and informative. i work a fulltime job and have a long commute. My wife just quit her job and Iam looking for a way to supplement my income. Any advice to offer would be much appreciated . i was thinking that Wealthy Affiliate might be the best option for a newbie like me.

Hi Mehaul,

Welcome to the forum. I don't use Wealthy Affiliate but I have heard many good things about it from people in this forum and elsewhere.

I use SBI (SiteBuildIt) and have found it to be exceptional for newbies since I was as green as they come. They are similar in price range (I think SBI is a little bit cheaper) but are both very good.

If you haven't heard of SBI, it's (obviously) a site building program that includes the works (everything you need from start to finish) for building a successful website business. I was particularly grateful for the step by step Action Guide (written and video) that told me EXACTLY what I needed to do each step of the way.

Of course, it includes the domain, hosting, brainstorming tools, site building software (it's a blockbuilder so you don't have to know html codes, etc.), autoresponders, blogger, ezine, etc. The support is very good and the members forum is phenomenal.

I'm not sure what all is included with WA, but it sounds like it has a quality layout as well and a really good forum.

Whatever you decide to go with, just remember that it will take some serious work and commitment up front to get yourself and your business established, but you can certainly supplement your income if you hang in there.

Blessings,
Angie

mehaul,

I am currently involved in a business that is simple and easy and I get paid every day. It only takes about 10-15 minutes per day. This would easily fit in with your full-time job. It is f.r.e.e. to join and then you decide if you want to invest any money.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Becky

mehaul,

Yes you do have to invest to get paid every day but you can start as low as 10.00 and it compounds daily. So, of course, the more you spend, the more you will make every day but every one gets the same percentage of a rebate.

Hi Mehaul,
I joined Wealthy Affiliate in November, and have been totally happy with it. I have a review site below with a tools and video page if you would like to check it out.
The WA forum is a gold mine...I have learned more there than probably anywhere else.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me anytime!

I personally haven't used Wealthy Affiliate so I don't have comments on that. Think about whether you want to have a job or have a business. You really would go down two different paths depending on if you want a job or a business.

There is some great FREE ebooks out there that can get you going. Check out my site below for some options.

Welcome mehaul,
You will have a lot of fun browsing thru things on here - don't be afraid to ask questions. I am in network marketing with a direct sales model and my link is in my signature but if you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive in - you will be fine regardless what you decide to go with...

I have not used Wealthy Affiliate, but have heard really good things about it. Have you decided if you want a JOB or a home business? Just remember that with a job, you won't have to pay out any money, but with a home business, there's usually an upfront fee to pay. Hope that helps!

Welcome Mehaul,

Ill get straight to the point,

Im part of a program called " PlugIn Profit Site ( PIPS )" which is a legitimate home based business and as mentioned earlier with home based businesses there is a couple of upfront fees ( less than $100 ) .

With PIPS you will have your own website set-up for you in less than 24hours and a great support group waiting for you at the Warrior forum.

These 2 aspects i find are the most important ( own website & Support Group )

Take a look at the program for yourself, top line of my signature.

Thanks for your time

Jason

Thank you for all your replies. i think Iam gonna try joining the wealth affiliate. It's only a $40 commitment for the one month and I can do further reading to learn more. So researching these sites that sounds like the best option to me right now,

Congratulations on your decision. So many people spend all their time and effort making decisions instead of getting to work. Gook luck and keep us posted on you experience.

Don't be to worried about the information overload. There is a learning curve with anything online. I would say it takes about a month just to get the terminology down, then another month to formulate an SOLID understanding of whatever it is you're doing and how best to turn theory into a marketing plan and then to implement it.

Working online has been one of the most rewarding and challenging thing's i've ever started.

BTW. Your link can be made clickable if you follow the instructions in your profile just under your signature line.

Best of luck,
Gilbert Armenta
