I had satellite installed not only to make my school online a bit faster but to be able to work from home. I live in a very rural area and my only choices are satellite or dial up. I spent alot to have satellite put in so that I could find a legit customer rep position. Little did I know that most or all?>> will not accept broadband satellite? I am really down about this because for one, I dont have a money tree ect. Does anyone know of a legit company for satellite users like me? Please let me know..I desperately need an income that doesnt revolve around commuting 1-2 hours from home. I have children that are old enough to be alone but refuse to leave them far out in nowhere land incase something should happen...Desperately seeking any information on this..THANX

So what you are saying is that the places like West are not hiring you?? Hmm, I don't work as a customer rep so hopefully someone else will hop on here with some info for you.

But you do have internet, right? There are other ways to make some money from home other than customer service although in most cases it is not a 'job' position...

I have kids and live in a rural area as well, but thanks to the internet, I am not limited to what I can do for money.

If you like Ebay, you can sell anything and everything on there ... that is always a 'quick' way to make a few bucks..

Its not that West hasnt hired me. I have accepted the employment but I am waiting after e-signing my forms ect that I had to do previous to starting. I did however look up alot on the net about customer service reps and satellite and it doesnt look promising if you have satellite. Most I have come across that seem legit require that you have dsl or cable and usually say (no dial up or satellite) I'm kinda curious as to why? I'm sure theres a logical reason. Hmmm

Yes, I wonder, too... as far as logical, I don't know, sometimes I want to take my computer out and shoot it....

But I know I can't so I just try to learn all I can about it - lol...

Perhaps look for a work from home job that only requires internet and computer.

It will save you time.
