I have been looking for some good sites to link to that are legitimate and have fair amounts of traffic. My site being fairly new does not have tons of traffic but enough to send a generous amount each month to a partner. My main concern would be linking to a site that has a bad rep that I don't know about. Any suggestions friends?

Hi Jenny,

I'm going to pm a link to you for a good 'value exchange.' Basically, it is a free system that you can register with that helps match you up with both new and established sites that are somewhat related to your niche. You don't really want to link to your competition, but more of a complimentary type site.

You'll still have to review the sites your matched with yourself to see if you want to make an exchange of links, but it is a great starting point. There will be simple instructions to follow to get you started.

Blessings,
Angie

Jenny,

I find myself in agreement with Happywife. Partner up with related sites that you won't be competing with directly. It may be that one site supports the other yet does not offer the same products or information.

For example, a sub-niche of Golf that provides and sells golf clubs might partner up with a site that talks about golf balls and golf tees.

Each site would be helping the visitors of the other site because visitors from both sites would like to know all about clubs, balls, and tees. Even better, visitors from both sites would need to buy each item from the two sites.

Each site would get more traffic and sales than they would if they hadn't cross-linked.
