I registered with PayDotCom to as part of the action plan for an online Internet course. I successfully logged in a few times and one day I was unable to access the site with my User-id and password. The first thing I did was to look for help on the site. I was unable to find anything pertaining to not being able to logon to the site. I looked and looked and decided to click on the FAQ button. I immediately noticed that there were numerous comments pertaining to not being able to logon and not receiving any assistance from PayDotCom. I was also frustrated and searched from page to page with no indication of help. I finally noticed a "Help" button at the top of the page. I clicked on the button and there was no indication of the help I needed. I finally noticed a "Helpdesk" button at the bottom of the page after a few days of searching, and I clicked on the button.
I was forwarded to another page with the following information at the very top of the page:
PayDotCom.com Help Desk: Articles - Log A New Ticket | Create A Help Desk Account
I clicked on Create a Help Desk Account and it took me to a page that asked me to register for access to the helpdesk. I tried to login with my Userid and password and it refused the entry. I was again frustrated! I finally figured out that it was asking me to provide a unique Userid and password as part of the Helpdesk registration process. I entered the new Userid and password and it allowed me to use them to logon to the Helpdesk and enter my request for assistance.
Once I was able to log my request it took about 3 days and I finally received the instructions including the Userid and password for logging into PayDotCom. It is not a very user friendly site for requesting technical assistance, but the links are there and they work. The instructional fonts are also small and there is a lot of information on some of the pages.
Additional information that I received with the solution was as follows:
1. Please clear your cookies, history and temporary files, including offline content, etc...then login.
2. You should also lower your Privacy settings to medium/low, as setting higher than this will prevent the necessary cookies from loading.

Username: xxxxxxxx
Password: xxxxxxxx
E-mail: xxxxxxxxxxxx

3. Sometimes, after doing the above, if it still won't let you in...click the "Login" link at the top of the page, it should show a box with your email or user name already filled in...just fill in the password and it should work. (Most of the time this step will be unnecessary)

After logging in, go into your profile and change the password to one of your own.

I hope this information will help someone receive prompt technical assistance from PayDotCom. I wish you well.

I have used paydot.com often and have never had any problems. But thanx for letting us know. If it happens in the future then we will know where to go for help. I am glad you stuck to it and ironed out the wrinkles. Everyone has 1 or 2 major issues when creating their internet business. We learn as we go.
