Does anyone have any metrics on the average per hour income someone makes from working from home. I am sure this varies a lot, but overall, what does the avg person make per hour of work? what do you make per hour of work?

Hi workworkhome,

You might do a Google search for the one. It's possible that someone has already done a poll. If you can't find anything, you might consider conducting a poll yourself.

People who "work from home" is too broad. Are you including people who work for legit, big companies out of their home? There are also hundreds of thousands of people who work phone customer service type jobs from home for big companies like UnitedHealthCare etc.

Honestly, I think no matter where you get your numbers from, the amount is going to be way off base, especially with internet marketers. No offense to them/us, as I am one, but you probably won't get very many honest answers.

By the way, I make $75,000 a year from home.... ...j/k

I know of people working 30 min/day and making $5000.

Conversely, I know of people making $30/day and working for five hours.

Most online opportunities are commission-based, or at least flux with output.

This is different than most "real-world" jobs, which offer little or no short-term incentive for increased productivity/development of new skills.

As such, comparing these to realms of income creation doesn't paint the clearest picture of what's possible.

Are you asking about people who have a work at home job or someone who has their own online business? Someone who is working for a company from home may make 15-18$ an hour where someone who has their business online may be making 200$ an hour. This too would depend on what type of business they have online and what kind of marketing they do and traffic they get to their site.

So really it depends.

Yes very true - it can vary from person to person - from newbie to experienced marketer !

Luckily the better you get at this the more you earn - especially when you get into JVs etc. !

Hello,

At the moment I average around $12 per hour.

When I started working at home over a year ago I was averaging between $6 and $7.

After I got myself established, I was able be more and more choosy about the projects that I worked on.

I work as a freelancer, VA, administrative assistant, whatever you want to call it.
